I have used this amplifier for two weeks. The Acoustic A1000 Amplifier clearly duplicates the tonal sounds of my Tag Tramontane acoustic guitar with the clean "no effects" setting. I especially like the ability to shift the frequency response mid point. The pre-programed effects are nice and are easy to select for use. An experienced sound person can readily create and save a custom effects to get the sounds you want for your instrument or vocals. The controls feel like high quality and the cabinet is solid. I tested the "Bluetooth" connection with my cell phone and worked first try and the mp3 music sounded great. The Auxiliary input worked fine for use with my karaoke player deck. My standard mics and the wireless mic system worked great with the A1000. The sound volume was as expected. Don't expect 100 Watt sound out of a 50 Watt Channel. Both channels work with instruments or microphones and in combination. I have not experienced any interference/static. Not sure how well the anti-feed-back will work with the volume up at full power. I will use the A1000 in my home studio and for family and social events. Great amplifier for the money!

The ONE star is for the sound quality, and eye appeal.
Unfortunately, I had to try two of them, before I decided I wasn't taking my chances on a third one.
Amp #1: Effects display for channels 1 & 2 would not light up 75% of the time...amp at this price, EVERYTHING needs to work properly. Back it went. Musicians Friend were great at exchanging it.
Amp #2: Unboxed it, plugged it in, immediate hum/buzz...can't do anything with it (much less record) if there's a buzz in the background---and it wasn't a "tube amp" type low hiss, it was a loud hum/buzz.
Shut everything off in the house that could have been a possible source of electrical interference, and tried 4 different outlets in 4 different rooms connected to 4 different breakers...still buzzed. Started messing with knobs, and troubleshot the problem to be a possible bad solder on the Frequency pot for channels 1 & 2. Back it went.
I WAS gonna take a chance on a third one (because I REALLY wanted this amp); but Musicians Friend was dragging their feet on this one (processing exchange), so I called them up, and canceled the exchange, and got a Fender Super-Champ X2 head and Fender Super-Champ 112 cabinet for my electrics instead.
I will continue to use my Acoustic G20 and PA system for my acoustic/electric until Acoustic works out their issues with this A1000.
There are plenty of good reviews, and happy customers here, so SOMEONE must be getting a good one...but it sure wasn't me.
I must admit...the first amp did sound really good, and I definitely love the looks of it. And, as far as my research goes, this is the only acoustic/electric amp that offers 4 inputs, 2 outputs, and Bluetooth---that is why I am so disappointed that I had two bad experiences with it.
I don't enjoy giving "bad" reviews on gear...but a lemon is a lemon, and I think it's only fair that everyone looking at this amp, should hear everyone's experiences with it.
Buy at your own risk.

Sound quality of effects is not great but will do in a difficult situation where you need to be small. Also Musician's Friend now uses "Synchrony" bank not Citi or any legitimate financial institution for their credit card. Avoid using this so called bank for anything, you will be sorry.

Comments about A1000 100W Stereo Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

I bought the A1000 because of sale price, 4 inputs and bluetooth, plus my experience with my A20.

Sounds excellent using any of my mics or acoustic/electric guitars, also as stereo amp for mp3 player. Have also plugged in external powered speaker which sounded very good. More than enough power for any venue or jam I play.

Haven't really figured out all of the effects, and documentation I found for them is sparse. Wish there was a more detailed manual available for extra features.

Feedback elimination/reduction is amazing compared to PA used in jams I've attended.

Comments about A1000 100W Stereo Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

With four inputs with individual volume controls and phantom power, and two separate effects chains it seems well capable for an acoustic duo to gig with, or for an individual to use with a couple of guitars. I run my jazz box through a pedal board into it, and it sounds sweet.

I do have a couple of quibbles:

The aux input works great. The Bluetooth is a problem. it seems to have a range of about 5 feet, which is totally silly.

Also, when you power it on, it does not remember what effects were active, and goes immediately to "dry no effects". On the other hand, when you move to an effect, either something built in or a user preset, you can't go back to dry without turning it off.
from to initial setting, you have to hit the up button to get to the presets, or the down button to get to the user presets, which means the first user preset is #20 rather than #1. This seems kind of counter intuitive, to say the least.

So - not perfect, but sounds good, is reasonably priced and very portable. I like that I can leave it set up in the den so I can practice with a mike and amplification.

This was bought to replace/upgrade from the predecessor, the Acoustic AG120S. I liked the new look, the lighter weight, and the savable digital effects. Unfortunately, the thing does not have the full sound of the AG120. Comparatively, it is sonically weak. It's all about sound so it's going back.

After hauling around an 8 channel mixer, speakers, poles etc for years I decided this old guy needs a better way. I checked out most of the amp options around. Some were really nice...and too pricey. This amp, Acoustic A-1000, stood out to me. While it doesn't have the looping capabilities I would use the effects loop for that anyway as well as any serious effects. The presets in the effects are fine as is, after a time I'll custom tweek my own. The 3 band EQ is very responsive and the Frequency sweep is handy to color the tone. Love the option to stand it in the "wedge" position. I really like the "Chicken head" control knobs as well. A glance and you know where you are with your settings. I'm getting all I could have asked for out of this amp. If I spent quite a bit more I'm sure I'd have something better but I can't complain about this one at all. The free shipping on it was great since it weighs 41 pounds!! This amp, to me, is a solo acoustic players jem!

After the second amp. The handle on the first arrived loose and was unable to tighten it for it was stripped on the inside. Kudos to Musiciansfriend for an exchange. The amp itself sounds wonderful watch your gain levels though. The effects are not that great. However the reverb is usable. Control pots all feel very nice for the price

Comments about A1000 100W Stereo Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

I tired this amp out in a local store and just had to have it. Musician's Friend gave me a great financing offer that I could not pass up. I debated getting the 40 watt amp but the sound was so much better coming from the larger 100 watt combo amp. I plan to use it for church performances and maybe as a PA for outdoor activities. The DSP settings are really nice and the fact that you get two channels plus the ability to plug in microphones in the back of the unit is also nice.

I've had this amp for a few weeks now and I love it. It sounds really good. Being able to add a vocal effect like small or large hall and others is fantastic. I usually play the guitar with no effects with a medium Hall effects on the voice. To me and the guys I jam with it sounds much better than my Fender Acoustisonic 150. I love the cool retro look to it as well.

Wish it explained features, loop, back side, Bluetooth, etc. I used to be a professional vocalist, jazz, rock, soul, gospel. At 70, I do it for pleasure, I can chord but average on that end, I love the 4 channels and the built in 48V phantom power on every channel, slowly putting together home recording studio. My wife is an excellent singer, love to sing harmony with her and to record a cd would be a dream come true, this stereo amp is a great start.

Intention was to use this amp in all my performances thinking the two stereo channels would permit the wife to plug in with her mic along with my mic and guitar. And that worked. But two weeks after purchase the #2 channel EFX display window had dimmed so much that the display is unreadable unless you get directly in front and close in to the amp. Then one of the toggle buttons for the EFX display jammed in the down position. Had to use a very small screw driver to get it to release. All of this occurred the week after I threw the shipping containers away.
