Comments about Ampeg SVT-210AV Micro Classic Bass Cabinet:

Originally tried this with the stock head and only one cabinet and there nothing memorable about the sound. Played it with two cabinets and both a TC 250 and a Rumble 500 and these cabs sound like an SVT rig. One of the few cabs that responded super well to the players velocity of technique - i.e. the harder you play, the louder it got. A lot of sound for two small cabs, but as others have pointed out, with two cabinets you are pushing 40 inches of air.

Comments about Ampeg SVT-210AV Micro Classic Bass Cabinet:

These have the classic Ampeg SVT sound in a lightweight, compact package. One is a lot louder than I expected, but I bought two which will be plenty for anything I do. They have a reputation for being "medium duty", but I'm not sure that's fair. I think two would be plenty for most bass players. On top of being really well built, they look great. A couple niggles are that they don't have a speakon connector (my amp only has a speakon) and the handle on top makes it hard to set my amp on there. Otherwise, I don't think there's a better deal out there if this is the type of sound you want.

Comments about Ampeg SVT-210AV Micro Classic Bass Cabinet:

A friend of mind already has and uses this cabinet at club gigs in San Francisco, I sat in with the band and became hooked on the sound. It had a low end sound you could feel at low volume, you didn't have to crank the volume. It also had a low mid-range tone that filled out the sound of the band. When I helped bring my friend's gear to his car, I grabbed this cabinet and laughed, I thought it was empty. He said nope, plugged it back in, played, and all the sound was there, So I got a cabinet of my own. I run it through a SWR Head Lite bass amp head, I brought it to a practice and had no problem going up steep stairs with this. My P-bass seemed heavier. This cabinet also more than held it's own up against a Carvin 100 watt Vai Legacy - 4x12 half stack. Everyone was so surprised a small, light cabinet like this could put out such a large sound for bass. I feel like I can now play anywhere and not worry about hurting my back carrying a heavy cabinet around. It's a Great indoor cabinet, Out-doors, the Sound is still There at close range.

Comments about Ampeg SVT-210AV Micro Classic Bass Cabinet:

I needed a rig that was under 30 lbs. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount & quality of sound I get out this cab, paired with the micro vr head. I've used it in clubs, outdoors, at church, and it sounds great. (I'm getting another cab so I can run the amp at 200w.) I used to own a full-size 70's-vintage svt rig, and I love the way they reproduced the look in what has to the most adorable bass amp ever.

I got one of these for X-Mas 2013. I wanted something small and light weight to use at practice and small venues. What I didn't expect was the quality of sound. It has that classic Ampeg tone. I play with a very aggressive drummer and have no problem getting above him with an SVT 3Pro and one of these little cabinets. I just ordered a second one. No more packing that 4x10 around. I should be able to play almost any venue around here with this modular setup. My back loves it.

Great tone and portability makes these a winner. I own two cabs and the head. I also use a vintage V4B with the two cabs. I am done with heavy cabs!

I've been the proud owner of Ampeg poducts for many years. For me there is no other I used the 410 HE and the115 with he SVT 400 head but the weight of the cabs was killig me. so I went to my local music store and played the SVT 210 AV with the matching head "WOW" this thing kicks ass it has as much punch, lows, mids and highs as my full stack yet is only 26lbs I use the SVT 210 AV at small gigs and up to about 500 seat rooms with no problems. bottom line is if you need A rig that is Verry light weight and has some balls the SVT 210 AV is it.

Comments about Ampeg SVT-210AV Micro Classic Bass Cabinet:

I needed a lightweight, portable cabinet solution to pair up with my Genz-Benz 6.0 Shuffle for smaller venues. My big rig is an SVT Classic with 810s but it's a bugger to haul around and is often more than necessary beyond the largest spaces. I decided to give the 210 a whirl. It's really well built, quite light and the Emminence speakers don't disappoint with tight sound and sufficient low-end capability. I am very pleased with the sonic clarity and that it can effectively handle a wide variety of frequencies with ease. It fits the bill.
