OVERVIEW

Incredibly deep and versatile reverb right at your feet.

The BOSS RV-500 Reverb features 32-bit/96 kHz AD/DA, deep programmability and advanced features. It offers musicians unlimited creative capabilities with cutting-edge BOSS technology.

The RV-500 features 12 modes and 21 reverb types, and all include sound-shaping parameters like modulation, ducking, and EQ. On tap is everything from standard reverbs to shimmer, non-linear, fast decay, SFX, and more, plus recreations of the classic Roland SRV-2000 and RE-201 Space Echo. Thanks to powerful DSP, players can access a full-featured digital delay with modulation along with every reverb, and even use two patches at once with Simul mode.

Free editor/librarian software is available for the RV-500, allowing users to edit sounds and organize patches on a computer via USB.

Comments about Boss RV-500 Reverb Multi-Effects Pedal:

Playing, recording, practicing, etc. This is high quality equipment, can definitely keep up with the best out there. Have a friend that has Strymon Big Sky, and he is going to get one of these, and an MS -3 also.
Bottom line, you should check this thing out, of coarse I tweeked the presets right away, was able to pick a few and make them much better, just with the outboard controls. No problem getting good sound right out of the box, I always reduce the effect, and use my spices sparingly, most of the time anyway. Its not hard to go deeper into the controls though. Love running this thing in stereo, it can do Ambient off the hook, pretty much anything you need, it can handle. I have a lot of Wampler pedals, Pinnacle 2 Deluxe, Sovereign, Triple Wreck, Dracarys high gain distortion. All great pedals. TC electronics pedals, etc. Like to use the Hall of Fame 2 with it, and Flashback Delay. Very happy with purchase, of coarse built like a tank. Will likely outlive me, ha - - -

Comments about Boss RV-500 Reverb Multi-Effects Pedal:

Absolutely one of the best sounding pedal Reverb's I've used to date. I've used Strymon, Neunaber, TC Electronic, Electro Harmonix, Eventide, DigTech/Lexicon and a few others. They all have their tone and if it works for you great. If you want something with more dimension and realism give the RV 500 a listen. The Plate & Hall Reverb are fantastic on nylon strings. Lots of tweeking possibilities. It's very easy to eq the low and high trails and tone. Right out of the box and on my Pedalboard it's usable. The ability to pull off my pedal-board and use with batteries is s plus for my use at gigs with no ac. Many of the good reverb pedals on the market don't have this option. It's 32bit 96k sampling is an industry high. I'm liking it so far. It's very smooth and non grainy. I don't care for reverb of any type when there's a grainy trail and sounds transistorized processed. I have this setup for my main Gig Rig. From the Guitars with LR Baggs Dual Source or Fishman Presus Blend. Line in (TR)or Wireless (SaturnA/B Switcher) with Line 6 G30 to a Grace Design AliX, DÁddarío Tuner, Boss RV500, TC Ditto Looper.
