Comments about DigiTech Whammy Pitch-Shifting Guitar Effects Pedal:
I know a ton of people love this pedal, but I just don't get it. The tracking is terrible. It will NOT handle chords. The foot cotrol needs recalibrated constantly. It forgets which section it's in. The LED will say "octave up" but it will be playing an octave down. You can get some cool White Stripes and RATM sounds, but for the price it's just not worth it. Gimmick.
Pros
- Excellent Sound Quality
- Great SoundVintage Look
- Versatile

Comments about DigiTech Whammy Pitch-Shifting Guitar Effects Pedal:
By far the best sounding whammy pedal with Vintage look & design. Almost look like the original WH-1. Smaller size with impressive sound. Very warm & smooth sounding. The Whammy-V sounded great on both solid-state and tube amp.
Pros
- Guitarist Funhouse
Cons
- Too soon
Best Uses
- To turn heads
Comments about DigiTech Whammy Pitch-Shifting Guitar Effects Pedal:
The Whammy 5 is a great addition to the Electric Guitar Toy Box. This is a Roller Coaster ride in a pedal. This is a really fun Toy to play with.
If you can play the Guitar and you have a great imagination, you will enjoy painting the air with audio cacophony with this modulating Swiss Army Knife. Great job Digitech.
Pros
- Excellent Sound Quality
- Good Selection Of Effects

Comments about DigiTech Whammy Pitch-Shifting Guitar Effects Pedal:
I've wanted a whammy forever, so when I saw that the new one was coming out I finally purchased it. It's fantastic for playing White Stripes. I don't really use most of the settings, I only really use the octave harmonies, Up one and Down one octave. Although it isn't incredibly versatile, it is very useful and allows a lot of freedom during solo's. I don't use the new "chordial" setting, just classic. If you've ever wanted a whammy, just buy it.
