Comments about DV Mark Multiamp 3-Channel Preamp/Effects Processor/Power Amp:

Despite the terribly deficient user manual, a few minutes of trial and error and most will be able to program the Multiamp, who's controls are fairly self-explanatory. I have been trying, unsuccessfully, for years to set up my Mesa Boogie Mark IV to create a Wes-like tone for my Gibson L5 CES ... the Multiamp has achieved that end with very little programming effort on my part. Although it can be used in mono, bridged mode, the effects really shine via its stereo outputs. It's a keeper.

Comments about DV Mark Multiamp 3-Channel Preamp/Effects Processor/Power Amp:

I've been playing for over 35 years and have owned far too many great tube amps to list. I also have been intrigued by amp modeling devices since I bought the original SansAmp back in 1989.

Through the years I've owned two Line6 Vettas the SansAmp and the Fractal AxeFx II.
This thing is really built with emphasis on quality. The construction and components are top of the line.

The things that set the Multiamp apart are the purity of tone on all the models. The effects never cloud your signal and it's easy to get a great tone without spending a lot of time.
In a side comparison with my other modelers the Italians take the medal with the Multiamp.

Comments about DV Mark Multiamp 3-Channel Preamp/Effects Processor/Power Amp:

I hesitated to buy this. I am a tube guy all the way ... I own many ENGL's and Mesa's. I also own two Fractal AxeFx II's, which are great but very pricey. I got intrigued when I heard Marco Svogli playing through one of these this entire past year and he was getting tones that were very Mark V like ... very warm with nice mid feedback. So, after researching it to death, I thought, 'why not'. Very nice unit overall. Not exactly like tubes and depending on the style of music you play, it may or may not be for you. It's certainly worth checking out. I purchased the Neoclassic 4X12 Stereo cab to go with it ... nice combo!

Comments about DV Mark Multiamp 3-Channel Preamp/Effects Processor/Power Amp:

One of the best guitar Amp processors to come out in years. Very clean sounds to heavy metal and everything in between. Easy to use without reading the manual. The knobs feel very solid you can tell it's quality built the way it's put together.
