Comments about DV Mark Multiamp 3-Channel Preamp/Effects Processor/Power Amp:

Brilliant amplifier, abundance of power, easy to configure original patches. But the manual is severely lacking. I bought this to use for live performances. For this purpose, I need a MIDI foot controller. DV Mark offers one but not yet available in the US. I finally gave up getting my Rocktron Midi-mate to do what I needed and to get an expression pedal to control volume. E-mails to MF Gearheads were not delivered. So reluctantly decided to return it. I noted that many have been returned. For me, no MIDI implementation support was the deal breaker. If others don't need MIDI or can overcome this obstacle, then this is a fine amp.

Comments about DV Mark Multiamp 3-Channel Preamp/Effects Processor/Power Amp:

I've played with solid state amps, pedals and tube amps over the years till I started working with rack units which were so convenient for me where everything is available, no tube hastle, sound cranking, amps and mics, etc...

I needed an upgrade after using quite a bit the Eleven Rack by Avid, which was also one of the greatest rack units ever but was somehow limited for me "firmware and expansy pack wise", so I decided to get the DV Mark Multiamp after going through many forums, videos, clinics and artists testimonials.

From the first exploring I was totally amazed with the craftsmanship and the building quality, then moving into the sounds, effects, amp simulations, cabs, mics and effects and the way you deal with it without a user manual made me so content that I have chose the right device, you will be shocked of how these sounds are so real?!

I don't think that you might use an AXE FX II beside this unit unless you are a tweaker, nothing is missing in this amp, simply its gorgeous and unique.

Comments about DV Mark Multiamp 3-Channel Preamp/Effects Processor/Power Amp:

Despite the terribly deficient user manual, a few minutes of trial and error and most will be able to program the Multiamp, who's controls are fairly self-explanatory. I have been trying, unsuccessfully, for years to set up my Mesa Boogie Mark IV to create a Wes-like tone for my Gibson L5 CES ... the Multiamp has achieved that end with very little programming effort on my part. Although it can be used in mono, bridged mode, the effects really shine via its stereo outputs. It's a keeper.

Comments about DV Mark Multiamp 3-Channel Preamp/Effects Processor/Power Amp:

I've been playing for over 35 years and have owned far too many great tube amps to list. I also have been intrigued by amp modeling devices since I bought the original SansAmp back in 1989.

Through the years I've owned two Line6 Vettas the SansAmp and the Fractal AxeFx II.
This thing is really built with emphasis on quality. The construction and components are top of the line.

The things that set the Multiamp apart are the purity of tone on all the models. The effects never cloud your signal and it's easy to get a great tone without spending a lot of time.
In a side comparison with my other modelers the Italians take the medal with the Multiamp.

Comments about DV Mark Multiamp 3-Channel Preamp/Effects Processor/Power Amp:

I hesitated to buy this. I am a tube guy all the way ... I own many ENGL's and Mesa's. I also own two Fractal AxeFx II's, which are great but very pricey. I got intrigued when I heard Marco Svogli playing through one of these this entire past year and he was getting tones that were very Mark V like ... very warm with nice mid feedback. So, after researching it to death, I thought, 'why not'. Very nice unit overall. Not exactly like tubes and depending on the style of music you play, it may or may not be for you. It's certainly worth checking out. I purchased the Neoclassic 4X12 Stereo cab to go with it ... nice combo!

One of the best guitar Amp processors to come out in years. Very clean sounds to heavy metal and everything in between. Easy to use without reading the manual. The knobs feel very solid you can tell it's quality built the way it's put together.
