Dang!
No, seriously. Just buy it. If you think it's not loud enough, you can also try the 40 watt version... which I gotta figure could be used to demolish houses.

I have been playing guitar for 35 years. I have owned every amp imaginable (including a 1x12 Music Man tube amp back in the day... never should have let that go). This Tweaker is simply ridiculous. If you're up against a drummer with a Neil Peart complex, you might have to go with one of the higher wattage Egnaters. But if you're playing small to mid-size clubs and recording, you cannot do better than this amp. With the gain at 10:00 and the master at 1:00 (even with the "hot' switch on) I can get icy clean tones so loud that I'm pissing off my neighbors... and not just the guy downstairs, I'm talking neighbors ACROSS THE STREET. I'm going to buy the 1x12 extension cab just so I can do some major damage when needed (like outdoor gigs).
But you want to talk about TONE? Look up "tone shooting out of its butt" in the dictionary and you'll see a picture of this amp. All three tone stacks are dead-on accurate. I'm not a Marshall guy, so I can't really speak to the accuracy of the Brit tone stack... sounds pretty realistic to me. The VX AC takes the most tweaking to sound accurate, but you can get there. But the USA mode (we're talking big "F" here) is impossible to screw up. It's blackface heaven, perfectly responsive to guitar volume and picking attack. The whole rig take pedals beautifully (my Eden Analog Nashville and MI Blue Boy Deluxe sound GORGEOUS through this thing). Patch a Boss '63 Fender Reverb pedal into the effects loop (only truly brilliant pedal ever produced by Boss), and you have yourself the best "F" amp that "F" never made. Plus a bluesbreaker amp, plus a British invasion amp.
I cannot think of a better way to spend the money. The Tweaker shames amps at two to three times this price point. Just buy it, man. Or woman.

I purchased one of these about 3 days ago. I was hoping to get a nice even overdrive sound like you would with a Vox ac15 or ac30. I can not get a nice even tone out of this amp. When I select the AC setting, it is closer to what I want, but not quite there. I have tried all the options, the BRIT setting is so screechy like a fender hot rod, the USA setting is a softer version of the brit setting. Just not my cup of tea. The cleans are nice however

Comments about Egnater Tweaker 112 15W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:
This amp is very nice, looks great & feels solid. The sounds are very much rock sounding but would work on other styles also. I've also got a Fender Deluxe Reverb limited edition and a hundred pedals but I was also wanting an amp that could do overdrive/distortion from within. Originally I was going to sell the Fender but realized that the Tweaker's clean sound really isn't as magic as Fender's so I will be keeping both amps. The Tweaker does overdrive & distortion great and it plays well with some pedals. The Electro Harmonix MetalMuff mixes very nicely with the built-in OD and creates a whole new sound from either alone. Very meaty rock sounds. Another great pedal is T-Rex Tonebug Distortion! Most Fuzz & Rat type pedals sound better though when the amp is on cleaner in my opinion. Even without any pedal this amp has lots of different sounds to explore. Its fun to turn on the heat and wail away and the different variations. IF you really aren't into Fender cleans then this could be your only amp. It rocks and really is a great price. Plug into one and check it out. Its tube & has none of that fake modeling so many other brands are into. I dig it.
PS. I waited a month after receiving it to make sure to give a more rounded opinion of it and I hope this helps you.
Almost forgot - I won't be using the FX loop as it didn't work with some pedals and sounds funny on others. I just put the FX in front of the amp and all is good.
Comments about Egnater Tweaker 112 15W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:
Overall, I really enjoy this amp. If it was stolen I would want to replace it, but with a used unit.
Very versatile amp. Many different tones available through the different switches and knobs. Some are more subtle, and others make a bigger difference. Combined, they really can produce a huge number of sounds. Not sure if can do metal because I don't play that kind of music.
Compared to my Fender Twin, the Egnater isn't identical to the Fender, but it's really close. The Egnater can "sparkle," but not as fully as the Fender. Probably it's down more to speakers than the amp itself. I like the clean channels on the Egnater much more than those on the Fender Blues Jr. III. The Egnater sounds more "open." I don't have much experience with Vox or Marshall, but those sounds on the Egnater are pretty close too; close enough to please me in any case.
I wish it could switch channels, but I guess that's the (more expensive) Tweaker 40. I wish it had reverb, but that wasn't a major concern. I wish it had an effects loop volume knob, but, again, not a huge deal.
Seems quite sturdy. Wish it had metal corner covers.
Harder to say here. I think the price is a bit steep, though I'm not sure what other amp I'd buy at that price. I got mine off MF for much less because it was condition 3. The damage that was done to make this condition 3 was really not a big deal to me at all, so I was really happy with the price I paid. But I don't think I would pay full price for this one.
Comments about Egnater Tweaker 112 15W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:
Overall a fantastic amp. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
Great features. Endless possibilities. All-in-one amp. I was trying to decide between a VOX and a Fender. I didn't want to buy two amps so I decided to try the Egnater 112. I have not been disappointed. I can get the VOX and the Fender sound with one amp, and a whole lot more.
The only minor issue I have is that some of the controls as at the back of the amp and not too easy to access. No big deal however.
Initial quality is great.
Great value if you consider the options you have with this amp in terms of wide range of tones that are available.

Comments about Egnater Tweaker 112 15W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:
I cannot see ever selling this amp. I am still discovering different tones with it, and I have had it for almost a year at this point. I can run my guitar straight into this amp, and have no issues. I can also plug my pedalboard into it, and again, the amp tone just shines through.
It plays very well with both humbucker & single coil guitars (I am amazed at how my Strat knock-off sounds with the switch on the US setting - very Fender-like).
This amp does extremely well with lower volume settings, but can get pretty loud when cranked. I mostly play low volume (the family does not like going deaf too often...)
The only thing that I can see this amp lacking is a reverb unit. However, I purchased a really good reverb (T-Rex Tonebug reverb), and it sounds great.
This amp is totally worth the money, and would recommend it against any amp in this price range.
It is a single channel tube amp with gain, bass, mid, treble, and master volume. It has switches for Deep versus Tight (set one for humbucker guitars & the other for single coil), Clean versus Hot (pretty obvious), Brit, AC, and US (this switch covers the Marshall, Vox, and Fender sounds respectively with uncanny accuracy), and finally Modern versus Vintage (you get a slightly different tube level response with this switch). About the only thing lacking here is reverb. You also have an effects loop in the back.
This amp is extremely well built. I use the Tweaker for home use, but I would have not issues going to a gig with it. The switches & jacks feel pretty reliable.
You can get pretty convincing Marshall, Fender, & Vox tones out of it (I play a Carvin SE90 humbucker guitar, and with the switch in the AC position, I have never heard this guitar sound so crystal clean). If you want this versatility, you would have to buy three different amps. I'd say that the value is pretty much out of the park.
Comments about Egnater Tweaker 112 15W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:
The gain control, hot switch and British USA alldo what they say they do in a affordable amp. Cabinet buzz needs to be worked out. Let the Tweakers Tweak.
The USA British switch does change the tone as advertized. I good usable cleans and OD.
The amp I played had cabinet buz something terrible. This happens with combos and may even go away over time, my PRRI did lose the buzz.
Nice 15 watt amp for the price. Has good low end and could use help on the highs. I played a 335 dot thru it. A Tele or a Treble Booster would help it out but I am being picky.

Got one of these a couple of weeks ago. I haven't played my marshall 205 c since then. It's a great amp for the price, gets plenty loud, takes pedals very well, light and easy to move around. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to a friend.
Comments about Egnater Tweaker 112 15W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:
This is probably the best value 15 watt tube amp out there, tone is amazing, sounds better than some much more expensive amps. Decently loud for a small amp, good size for home recording. I mic it with a GLS ES-57 and it sounds sweeeet! A second channel and reverb would be nice but not a big deal. If $600 is your budget then dont hesitate, buy the tweaker!
