I've toured the country in a packed van with this pedal bag and I've never had a single problem with it. I have stuffed it with pedals and cables thrown in in the back of cars trunks under drum sets in trunks and vans dropped in snow water mud. so if your into having your pedals perfectly aligned every time you open the bag then maybe you should get a pedal board with a hard frame or do what I recently have done and cut a piece of wood 12x21 and Velcro your pedals to that and place it in there, still a cheaper solution than a lot of options. I mean I guess it all depends on your experience with playing and knowing your setup or how valuable your parcels may be. Great bag for the price deff road worthy.

    Comments about Electro-Harmonix Pedal Bag:

It does the job I needed it for. Is it the most gig worthy? Nah. And if I was a professional touring, I would invest in something much nicer, but for me - giging once a month, and taking equipment to weekly practice. It is perfect. My pedals stay nice, and it has plenty of space. I run a Digitech Vocalist Live 3, Zoom Acoustic, Big Muff, EHX Knockout, Small Clone, Small Stone, And a Noise Gate for my guitar rig. For my bass I run the Vocalist, Bass Micro Synth, the Clone and Stone, SansAmp Tech 21, and the Fishman Fission Bass Pedal. Plenty of room, and it looks nice enough. Works for me and it is super convenient and easy to carry my equipment with. I leave my amp chords and jumpers on top of the pedals and zip the bag closed.

This thing is indestructible.....Have had and used it for a good 7 to 8 years..........have not had one of the problems that I have read others complaining about in there reviews...
would recommend it to any of my musical friends and acquaintances.... ..........real easy to attach a power strip inside the bag also.....matter of fact just ordered a new Thurman power strip to place inside the pedal bag, designed to accept the sometimes bulky power supplies coming from the 5 pedals I use...

        Comments about Electro-Harmonix Pedal Bag:

I'd suggest this to anybody who owns the Korg R3 since it is a perfect fit as a gig bag. I haven't quite figured out what to do with the velcro type material that comes with it for pedals since it is a effect pedal case but it's saving my poor little R3's butt when it comes to the gigs I need it for. I'd say it could probably use a little bit better strap quality since I'm looking at this thing and it'll guarantee break off in the next year. Straps are easy to replace though.

        By ShavenYak

        from Birmingham, AL

        Comments about Electro-Harmonix Pedal Bag:

This bag is well made, I haven't had any of the issues other reviewers have had with the zipper. My main complaints are that the handle and the strap get in the way (unless you tuck them under the board, but then they make it unsteady), and the entire surface should have been covered in velcro, because the strips they have are not placed optimally for two rows of pedals. Still, this has functioned well enough to get by.

        Comments about Electro-Harmonix Pedal Bag:

having owned a pedaltrain in the past, this thing is somewhat of a disappointment. it's dirt cheap, and you get a thinly padded nylon bag to hold your pedals, but it's not really gigging quality. the base itself is flexible (it ships folded in half), the velcro strips are thin and spaced far apart (don't expect danelectro or MXR pedals to stick very well). the handles don't come off so they will always be in your way. overall, this type of thing is perfect to keep dust off your small pedal collection in your living room, but look elsewhere if you're going to play regular gigs or need something durable.

For the price, you can't get much better. I have a Behringer DI, limiter enhancer, wah, chorus, danelectro distortion, digitech bp80 and a radial looper box on my board and could still make something else squeeze in there. I use it normally in my basement jam space but have brought it to friends and it holds up just fine. I dont know how it would gig, but if youre on a budget... check it out. I normally flip the "lid" under and zipper it up backwards to get it out of the way. nice buy

At first, I loved it, but after a year (kept indoors, never gigged) the handle starts to unthread. No problem, I wrapped it with duct tape.

Then, the inside stitching starts to unraveL, and the threads started to get snagged on e zipper. No problem I cut them off. Then, it started to REALLY unravel, so I started to burn them off with a match.

Finally, the inside stitching looked like a horse tail. I should've taken a picture before I threw it in the trash.

Great value! I was looking for something that was light and portable, yet durable. The only thing that I don't like is that the handle on the lower half is in the way, and that is a minor gripe. I was able to fit 9 pedals on mine, in this order: EHX Nano Muff> Ibanez compressor> Boss GE-7> EHX SS> Boss BD2> EHX English Muff'n> Dano FAB chorus> Dano PBJ delay> Ultra-G DI. It's awesome and works great in a live situation.

                        Comments about Electro-Harmonix Pedal Bag:

First of all, think about how much you gig or are going to use this. If you play around alot, this probably isn't for you. It was great for me when I first got it, but now I am increasingly playing gigs more and more, and my complaints have packed higher as a result. If you just play a little and simply need a means to transport your gear, then go with this, it's cheap and effective. However, with much use it begins to fall apart. Both of my velcro straps that hold everything are about to go, so I need to step up to a real pedal board. Great for beginners, it's a stepping stone case that I have just passed and will be upgrading soon. Did a great job keeping my pedals protected, though......

                        Comments about Electro-Harmonix Pedal Bag:

I had been searching for a pedal solution for a long time. I don't care for multi-function pedals much - I like the sound and simplicity of a few GOOD pedals (like the BOSS OD-3). So every gig I would have to set up and tear down several pedals, power supplies, etc. The "box" type pedal boards seemed convenient, but I don't want a slanted board because a wah pedal works better flat on the floor. When EH came out with this bag, I was skeptical, but it looked like it just might work, and what the heck - the price is so low it's not much of a risk, right? Well, what a happy surprise - I love this thing! 30 seconds, I'm up and good to go - 30 seconds, back down again. It is very well padded and protects well. The pedals all stay where they belong. I added a power strip right in the bag with a one-spot power unit for the pedals. I also power my wireless and a music stand light from the strip. Very convenient, very cheap, very functional. It's fun to find something that really works well and doesn't cost much! BUY THIS!

I have experienced Musician's Friend since mid 1990's when buying a Charvel Std Strat guitar at a great price and was great! After my family re organizing in the Seattle area, time to get back into music. High tech has changed since those previous years and the retail music industry with it. I am now looking at some tech related possibilities as they arise. The holidays look brighter for 2017 into 2018 and retail prices and selections along a customer focused quality is ready to Kick Out the Jams!

you zip the bag, pick it up by the handles, the weight of your pedals is on the 1/4" etc connectors.

easy solution...disconnect all your cables. Oh, but wait, isn't that what an fx bag is supposed to obviate?

Too much money for a shoddy zipper end to deem it unuseable. The zipper is beefy, but the zipper stop pulled right out. I tried to have it fixed and no one would touch it. Too much coin for the repair. Also the compartment on the side is too shallow for anything of consequence. Sorry...not happy with the purchase.
