OVERVIEW

Save your tone and save your signal with this compact pedal.

The Empress buffer was designed to be the complete I/O interface for the pedal board, while maintaining the highest fidelity to your guitar's signal. Signal loss due to long, un-buffered cable runs is an issue that has plagued guitar players for decades. The primary goal of the buffer is to eliminate this signal loss, ensuring that your tone is unchanged by your cables. Additionally, all the connectivity of your pedal board is consolidated to make set up quick and easy.

FEATURES
  • All Analog Signal Path - no digitals in here
  • Small Size - The enclosure measures approximately 4.5" by 2.5" by 1.5", which is delightfully small when considering all the features packed into this unit
  • Tuner Out - Separate tuner output keeps your tuner out of the audio path
  • Flat Top - Velcro your tuner to the top and you won't use any pedal board real estate at all
  • Complete I/O - All the connections to your pedal board consolidated in one place. Makes setup and teardown quick and easy

Comments about Empress Effects Buffer Analog I/O Interface Guitar Pedal:

You don't know you need a buffer until you try one! This buffer really brought the sparkle back to my tone, and as advertised is compact enough to fit on your pedalboard with another mini pedal mounted on top. Not only did it improve my tone, but it actually freed up space on my board and allowed for easier cable routing. Highly recommended!

Comments about Empress Effects Buffer Analog I/O Interface Guitar Pedal:

I have about 8-10 pedals on my board and I prefer to have some longer cables, I use a Lava coil cable from the guitar and hosa slim patch cables. The cable length is not so much a problem for me but the many pedals I use is still a fairly long chain. I tested it a few ways, I plugged my guitar in with a short patch cable (weird) and it sounded great, plugged into 20ft cable was noticeably different. With a chain of pedals it only gets impeded more and more. The buffer makes it sound like it's plugged into a short cable alone. It is also a stereo splitter if you utilize the other jacks. The slim design is great, especially paired with a TC Electronic polytune mini. Fits great on top. If you have just a few pedals and aren't going crazy with cable runs you may not need it (although the buffer plus could still be good) but if you've got a growing pedalboard this will help.

Comments about Empress Effects Buffer Analog I/O Interface Guitar Pedal:

Simply a must once used. Keep your signal sounding fresh by adding this to your chain. Check out the results. Who needs effects pedals?

Long cable runs kill signal. This creates the great beginning for getting full potential out of the pedals I do use. Fantastic product should be owned by all that seek quality guitar tone. This thing is amazing by itself.
