This is a versatile amp.I think it can be used for any genre,providing you have some effects.Great stand alone tone period.It is pricey,no doubt.But worth it.My only negative would be the lead volume is too loud for practical use.Get yourself an attenuater problem solved.Wonderful tone.

I bought this amp cause I was tired of lugging my JCM 800 half stack around for rehearsal. Discovered this little monster cranks. The clean channel is beautiful, and it has more gain tha I'll ever use. Got fat bass, beautifull overtones, great feed back, If you like clean Fenders and dirty Marshalls, this is the junk. Plus it's way loud.My brother has a Soldano, and he's impressed.
