The Fenderr Acoustasonic 15 is a nice little amp that fills the need for someone who needs to balance guitar and vocals loud enough to play a room of 25 people or so. I use mine as a practice amp in the living room. I prefer to practice singing through a PA since I find it very different from singing into the air. This amp allows me to set up quickly and get a decent acoustic guitar sound in seconds. Plug in a mic and I'm good to go. The only downside is the absence of reverb (and the addition of chorus). If this amp had reverb it would have been the perfect small amp - I don't know what Fender was thinking by opting for chorus instead. Oh well, maybe version 2.0 will add reverb. You would be hard pressed to find a better small PA for the price.

Cute little amp with a Fender logo...it's supposed to be 15 watts but sure didn't sound like it...sound wasn't much loder than my acoustic guitar unplugged...sound was very muffled...couldn't correct even with the EQ knobs...maybe a small tweeter would help...might be good for home practice in a pinch...there are better small amps out there, but you'll have to spend more...the Crate Taxi 15 comes to mind...I took a gamble...thanks to MF for their excellent return policy

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 15 Acoustic Combo Amp:

    Recently bought th
for in home practice and expectations were modest due to the size.I was very impressed with the sound and tone once the controls were tweaked.I had to boost the bass both on the amp and the eq on the guitar. The treble was also boosted with the mids rolled off slightly.I found thst the built in chorus was best set at the 9 o clock podition for my application. My guitar is an Ovstion celebrity clone and I was most impressed with the tone abd volume this small unit can produce.Inhsve learned that this unit has A "WHIZZER CONE" which acts like a tweeter for treble clarity.Very nice little amp and it is ideal for in home practice or prhaps a very small venue.

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 15 Acoustic Combo Amp:

Very good sound for the size. Lots of times, "On the Road" I could have used a small amp like this. To many folks in a small lounge venue, if it's bigger than a shoebox, it's too loud! Doesn't matter if it's almost turned off, Bigger than a shoebox, Too LOUD! This amp has excellent sound quality, and is Not Intimidating to Old Geezers, in a bar.

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 15 Acoustic Combo Amp:

This amp looked like it was thrown out of a window. The Fender name was broken and the board that holds the speaker was broken in three places. This was much worse than a scratch and dent item. I needed this amp so I repaired it and it is working fine.

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 15 Acoustic Combo Amp:

Works well with blanced XLR dynamic microphones but does not have the 48 volt phantom power that is necessary for use with condenser microphones. I had to make my own XLR cable adapter that connects to an external 48 volt power supply. Other than this minor inconvenience it is a great practice amplifier.

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 15 Acoustic Combo Amp:

I was looking for an inexpensive practice amp with mic and instrument input. This is a decent amp for that. I have used bigger Fender Acoustasonic amps in the past. This does not have the same sound quality of the bigger amps but that is to be expected with the small 6" speaker. Chorus is a nice feature and in my opinion the best effect for acoustic guitar. Bass is lacking. I would not gig with this but it is a good practice amp for the price and size.

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 15 Acoustic Combo Amp:

We (my youngest daughter who is just starting to gig) needed a small lightweight PA/guitar amp that she could use to sing and play for an elderly audience at senior centers. This little Fender is just what we needed and it actually exceeds our expectations. All she needs is one mic with boom & stand, acoustic electric guitar, music stand, and this little amp. One trip from trunk to stage.
