its a nice mini amp that looks great, but dont expect much more out of it. i think it sounds pretty good for how small it is, but its a little tough to get a good clean sound out of the E string when the battery is about 75% or less.
it is what it is, a small practice amp. it has a stand for a nice touch though.
very well put together except for the battery cover that rattles. i havent put mine back on since i discovered it rattled. it took a pretty good fall from about 6 feet and not a scratch on it
its a little expensive for what it is.

I got this mini amp so I could be plugged in without bothering anyone else. It could use better speakers and sounds great through good headphones. Tone control works backwards and only has slight variation of tones, almost unnoticeable. It's OK for practice by yourself and is probably a little overpriced, but you are getting a Fender product.

Comments about Fender Mini Tone-Master Amp:

This little Fender amp is a neat looking little package and a joy to play on.
With the 9-volt battery package it travels easy and has built in input
for a 9-volt adapter. Am amazed how much sound, but be gentle
on the sound level of the twin 2" speakers.
A nice low cost for this amp, too.

Comments about Fender Mini Tone-Master Amp:

Hey...This a great TOY amp. Just for novelty and fun. I use it, while my wife watches TV. It has a headphone jack on the side, so you can practice and enjoy. I also love the way it looks on my desk. I LOVE IT! Remember this is for fun... and practice. It is also made very solid....good quality....but don"t expect the sound of a full size amp.

Great PRACTICE AMP

By Peteiscool1

Comments about Fender Mini Tone-Master Amp:

This amp is great as a practice amp. My only amp is a fender hot rod in my basement, and bringing it to my bedroom every day to practice would have been a nightmare. I bought this little guy so I could have a nice, fender-esk tone to practice with. This amp surpassed my expectations. It produces quite a bit of sound. It has a great, dirty vintage fender tone. The only problem is that it is hard to get a super clean tone with this amp. If you turn the gain down to one, the amp is just not quite loud enough. I have been able to get good clean tones out of it, just not at full volume. It is perfect for practicing. The mini half stack looks great on my desk as well. Thanks fender!

Comments about Fender Mini Tone-Master Amp:

This little thing produces a lot of sound! But I really like a lot of bass in my sound, cutting the treble, and the little tone knob just doesn't provide. In fact, it hardly changes the sound at all. Also, the device makes an annoying rattling sound at times, even when it is not that loud. All in all, it's ok, but I'm going to keep searching.

Comments about Fender Mini Tone-Master Amp:

This amp is great with headphones. The clean is surprisingly bright and you can get a good overdriven sound if you dial the tone all the way back. Once you tweak it, it sounds fine so you can get your amp sounds on the go. (P.S. any pedals just make it sound like a trash can)

Does its job

By IbanezLover

Comments about Fender Mini Tone-Master Amp:

I used to like walking around in the woods with my acoustic guitar, but I'm more of an electric player, so I decided to grab one of these a few years back and try it out. It certainly can't compare to a "real" amp, or even a smaller practice amp when it comes to tone and volume, but it does its job well. It's great because if you leave your main amp at a practice spot, it allows you to have something you can play with quietly at home. The tone does leave something to be desired, but for an amp this size it is more than adequate. I believe this is a great product because it is an easy, portable amp. The sound quality isn't the greatest (it runs off of a battery), but I've never heard of an amp this size that was anything special, other than providing portability, and it definitely does that.

1 Watter Can Do This?

Comments about Fender Mini Tone-Master Amp:

Wow... To start off, I was really suprised it had 2 2inch speakers in it. seeing it was only 1 Watt, I had low expectations. This Mini-Amp was VERY suprising and good! First of all it is pretty loud for 1 Watt. 2nd of all it had distortion! And last of all, it packs one good punch for being that small. My only complaint is that is should come with the AC adapter. This is a very a good deal and I personally think the best mini-amp out there. GeT THiS!!

Comments about Fender Mini Tone-Master Amp:

I got this amp a while back and never really liked the tone as you sounds like a toy filled with plastic however it has some real power and lots of features.I do think that the speakers in this amp should be swapped out for something larger to improve the tone.Overall the amp is a nice little gift for short idea jams but if you want good Fender tone, go look for a real Fender amp.

try it before you buy it

By chevelle454

from ohio

Comments about Fender Mini Tone-Master Amp:

I bought this thinking it would be pretty neat and all. It does seem cool, but you cant turn it up past 4 or it sounds absolutely terrible. I was using a schecter with duncans through it and I thought it sounded pretty terrible. Theres not very much gain to it (I dont think it was made to be high gain), and as soon as it gets loud, it starts rattling and buzzing. It was also a bit bigger than I thought. I was hoping it would have a belt clip like the marshall ones, but it doesn't. If you dont mind spending the extra cash, go for the marshall MS-4.

I've use this amp to play stadiums full of people! extrmly loud! My wife started screaming and her ears started too bleed! So loud it scared my dog and made him fart! More noise then a crapped out dump truck! Louder then you yelling if you found out your wife cheated on you with me!

Comments about Fender Mini Tone-Master Amp:

First, look at the dimensions so you won't be surprised. It's small. The sound from the 2 speakers is surprisingly good. The mini amp is fragile since it is made entirely of plastic. Won't take too many falls. And it's so light that the cable pulls it off things easily. It's fun for the home and easier to take than my 10 watt for practice when I go on short trips. I bought it for the portability for home practice and outside of the home practice.

It's a Mini Tone Master, not a "Maxi Tone Monster." It performs well for what it is. Keep the volume down and enjoy the clean tones. It is not in its "happy place" when cranked.

        Got A Lemon

        By purplemermaid

        from Hendersonville, NC

Comments about Fender Mini Tone-Master Amp:

I ordered this amp for my daughter for Christmas. It won't work at all with the 9V battery, and with the 9V adapter it has so much static and squeal that you can't even stand to leave it on no matter how much you adjust it. Really aggravating and disappointing on Christmas morning. For the low price it's too much of a hassle to return it. I guess I just got a lemon.

        They Could Do Better....

Comments about Fender Mini Tone-Master Amp:

I was really excited when I got this amp so I could jam around the house. I was quickly surprised that wasn't as easy as I imagined. First of all, it doesn't even have a belt clip for easy portability- I had to make my own with ducktape. Second, the distortion doesn't sound that great on it. It pretty much shorts out whenever I hit a low-end note. When you have it on clean, it does sound fairly descent, but that's the only reason why I kinda like it. I would recommend buying the Marshall MS-4 Micro Stack for extra $25.

        Works for me

        By jagstang91

Comments about Fender Mini Tone-Master Amp:

I picked one of these up at my local shop and it has worked great. Its fun to play, small, and great for traveling. I also like how it is battery powered. it is very portable and will fit in a gig bag. The only downside is at higher volumes and with high gain it tends to buzz and loose most tone. Overall a good amp to have around.
