I play in several bands here around Corsicana,Texas, classic rock, blues, country,Christian and have several bass amps ive used over the years. This Rumble v3 200 has really impressed me. Played a 100 people club over the wk end using this for the 1st time and just set it on the stage no stand or extension speaker hooked up with settings at noon except high mid up some and bass cut some. Master at 1 quarter up, gain at noon.Had all effect buttons off, tweeter off and no distortion. Amp at my feet, drummer behind me,guitarist using Fender twin, steel player with his amp, everything through the PA including me but not in the monitors. I could hear my bass better than before and the low notes were clear and not mushy. I played 4 sets alternating between 2 passive Fender P basses. Band members commented the sound and clarity they could hear. Id have to say this is a very good toned, powerful, easy to carry, cool bass amplifier and Im very happy with it.

The amp was purchased for my teenage son for Christmas. The amp was recommended by several different musicians and received high ratings online. My son tried out the amp once at home and then took it to a gig. It worked fine. The second day he took it back to the gig and the speaker wouldn't work. All sound was coming out of the horn. We didn't have a back up amp this time. After discussions with Musician's Friend and Fender, the amp is going back and we will get a replacement - hoping this one will work (we had the amp for 4 days). Until we try out the new amp, I can't recommend this one.

Comments about Fender Rumble 200 1x15 200W Bass Combo Amp:

I got this amp because we needed more power for our bass player. This amp definitely has more power than the amp that was being used (a 40w rumble), but it isn't quite as loud as I hoped it would be, even when using an extension cab to get the full 200w. It has a good clean sound. The voicing buttons change tone in a very subtle way. A couple of minor complaints, the volume pot was scratchy right out of the box. A little electronics cleaner helped that situation. Also, the grille cloth is a bit loose. That being said, it is still a very nice amp, and I'm happy with it. The best part about this amp, I think, is the weight and portability.

Comments about Fender Rumble 200 1x15 200W Bass Combo Amp:

I've always used an Ampeg SVT with a 6x10 cab. Any time we had shows it felt like I was hauling around a refridgerator. I needed something more portable, and I was afraid of losing good quality sound. I'm shocked how light weight this amp is. It's very powerful, and it has great quality.

Comments about Fender Rumble 200 1x15 200W Bass Combo Amp:

Purchased a 2x10 Rumble for my Fender Jazz bass. Got lazy one day and didn't feel like switching cables, turning on other amp, getting out of my chair, etc, and played my Strat through the Rumble. Well, IDK, maybe it's just me but the Strat (and Tele) never sounded better. To my ears anyway, the lows were deep and rich yet the highs were still clearly present. So now I mostly play bass and several guitars thru the Rumble. I just like the full, wide tone range. And for me, the more bass the better. My Fender Super and Deluxe reverb amps don't get a lot of play time anymore. Hey, if I like the sound that's all that matters to me.

Its got better power than some 200 watt bass amps , its light and it doesn't (at least so far ) make any backround noice. It would be a nice amp for small to medium size venues

Comments about Fender Rumble 200 1x15 200W Bass Combo Amp:

I played this Amp first at my local music store with my Fender Jazz and Rickenbacker Basses. The sound was amazing and the different settings gave me a lot of diversity. Super light weight for what it can do.
I recommend it to anyone. beginner or advanced. You wont be disappointed.

Comments about Fender Rumble 200 1x15 200W Bass Combo Amp:

Love, this amp. Great low tones. I was looking for a new amp, which was lighter without losing the good soft lows. This is it. I tried a lot. I plug into our mixer and pipe sound to a sub. We play a lot of current country. Great amp for that style of music.

Comments about Fender Rumble 200 1x15 200W Bass Combo Amp:

I have been playing bass for about 35 years now . I have had and do have some of the best bass amps out there . I am getting older and wanted something that had great sound and was lighter than my current rigs . I was able to try this out at winter NAMM this year and was shocked how loud and great it sounded in their booth , I was blown away . i finally got one and am super happy with it . I was worried about the low wattage in comparison to my other amps but this amp pushes just fine with a band and when I add my Epifani 110 cab ( which is also a lightweight neo cab ) as a extension to get the full 200 watts , O man it just kills . I am real happy to have this amp.

I have had this amp for a few months. I bought it because I wanted a bass amp with some power but was light weight. This thing is easy to carry at 32 lbs. It kept up with a high school pep band in a gym, and I used it last weekend on a country gig and had no trouble dialing in a great tone for that type of music. Very happy with the purchase. I experienced the quick delivery I have come to expect from MF.
