I play in several bands here around Corsicana,Texas, classic rock, blues, country,Christian and have several bass amps ive used over the years. This Rumble v3 200 has really impressed me. Played a 100 people club over the wk end using this for the 1st time and just set it on the stage no stand or extension speaker hooked up with settings at noon except high mid up some and bass cut some. Master at 1 quarter up, gain at noon.Had all effect buttons off, tweeter off and no distortion. Amp at my feet, drummer behind me,guitarist using Fender twin, steel player with his amp, everything through the PA including me but not in the monitors. I could hear my bass better than before and the low notes were clear and not mushy. I played 4 sets alternating between 2 passive Fender P basses. Band members commented the sound and clarity they could hear. Id have to say this is a very good toned, powerful, easy to carry, cool bass amplifier and Im very happy with it.

The amp was purchased for my teenage son for Christmas. The amp was recommended by several different musicians and received high ratings online. My son tried out the amp once at home and then took it to a gig. It worked fine. The second day he took it back to the gig and the speaker wouldn't work. All sound was coming out of the horn. We didn't have a back up amp this time. After discussions with Musician's Friend and Fender, the amp is going back and we will get a replacement - hoping this one will work (we had the amp for 4 days). Until we try out the new amp, I can't recommend this one.

Comments about Fender Rumble 200 1x15 200W Bass Combo Amp:

I have been playing almost 50 years and this amp reminds me of my old Bassman from the 60's. Great Fender tone and warmth. Love the sound of my fret less through this amp. Since I'm old, portability is key. I can hand carry this amp anywhere. I couldn't be happier. If you play small clubs in a jazz or acoustic band you will be very pleased with this. Lots of power. Great tone. Weighs nothing.

Comments about Fender Rumble 200 1x15 200W Bass Combo Amp:

This is an unsolicited non biased review. First off MF is a superior customer oriented company and I am more than satisfied with their service.
This Fender 15" spkr bass amp is exactly as advertised. Powerful enough, deep bass, good old school looks, nice build quality and LIGHTWEIGHT. I don't know they can get that much punch from a cabinet that light. I would've preferred the controls on the front rather than top but you cant have everything. Just a note.. If I understand the manual correctly, the 200 watts is only reached when you add a speaker. Otherwise it works at 120 watts. Still plenty volume for any small to medium gig. And in a big gig I would run a line out anyway. And oh yeah, its priced right!

Comments about Fender Rumble 200 1x15 200W Bass Combo Amp:

I have played guitar for about 55 years. I just started playing bass for my personal recordings and jamming. I get a great warm bass sound for recording using the line out feature to my audio interface. This amp also has a horn that can be switched on when playing more contemporary genres, but I am not that accomplished yet.

Comments about Fender Rumble 200 1x15 200W Bass Combo Amp:

Another great purchase from Musician's Friend; I normally use an Ampeg 810E speaker cabinet and an Ampeg 450H head also bought from Musician's Friend but wanted this Fender combo for smaller gigs/rehearsals/recordings. I was amazed at the power and sound coming from a smaller amp. I'm very pleased with the performance and ease of transport this Fender Combo provides. I've purchased many guitars and amps throughout my life but for the past 5 years I only use Musician's Friend for ALL my purchases. This Fender Bass combo was purchased online on a Thursday and I had it on my doorstep on the following Monday and used it for a rehearsal the next day. Totally satisfied with this Fender Bass Combo amp.

Comments about Fender Rumble 200 1x15 200W Bass Combo Amp:

I wanted a great sounding bass amp with that fat 15" sound. I played 3 different amps that had 15" speakers and this one sounded the absolute best. Plus it weighs next to nothing. When paired with a Pbass with flat wound strings it is tonal heaven. The "Vintage" button sounds awesome. I really can't believe you are still reading this ... buy one now. What are you waiting for? You will not regret it.

I have had this amp for a few months. I bought it because I wanted a bass amp with some power but was light weight. This thing is easy to carry at 32 lbs. It kept up with a high school pep band in a gym, and I used it last weekend on a country gig and had no trouble dialing in a great tone for that type of music. Very happy with the purchase. I experienced the quick delivery I have come to expect from MF.

Comments about Fender Rumble 200 1x15 200W Bass Combo Amp:

I was searching for a lightweight backup bass amp and tested the 200 watt Fender Rumble. I was surprised with the sound and the portability of this amp. What is the point of having a mega watt amp and a cabinet that weighs a ton?( We don't use roadies) I have found that 200 watts on stage is plenty and send the sound direct out. Both my guitarists and I go direct to keep the stage sound to a minimum. I will however purchase a 115 Rumble cabinet to perform the outdoor gigs. I now use this amp as my main rig and will sell my bass fridge!
Thanks Fender and Musician's Friend for continuing to fulfill the musician's needs!!
