OVERVIEW

A small Tube Screamer amp, perfect for small shows, recording and more.

The Ibanez TSA5 Tube Screamer 5W tube guitar amp is the little guy in the TSA family. At only 5 watts this little guy packs a heavy punch. With its single tone control it’s easy to dial in the tone right for you. Optional IFS1G footswitch turns on the Tube Screamer circuit.

The Ibanez TSA5 is here; we aren’t sure why Ibanez didn’t do it years ago. The Tube Screamer overdrive pedal is considered mandatory by a whole generation of guitarists, and now it’s built right into the circuitry of their TSA new series of a tube driven amplifiers. Perfectly matched with Celestion speakers, the TSA5 can do it all. It will produce a rich, clear tone, or drop ‘em down into overdrive and the tube saturation will delight the toughest of the old school tone snobs.

Comments about Ibanez TSA5 Tube Screamer 5W 1x10 Tube Combo Amp:

For the last 30 years my practice amp has been a supro super. This is the first amp I've came across in this price range that can hold its own with the supro. The built in tube screamer circut is a bonus. Great little amp at a great price.

Comments about Ibanez TSA5 Tube Screamer 5W 1x10 Tube Combo Amp:

I have been playing guitar for a few years now. Not professional, but got a few offers to play in good bands. Been Using Solid state practice amps till now (just sold my Marshall MG)and was never really happy with the sound, i started looking for a tube amp and stumbled upon this one at my local guitar store.

My tokai Love rock sounds great through it. Cleans are Really clean, and at high volumes can get a little crunchy. Kick in (or switch on, No pedal) the tube screamer circuit and play with the controls, you can get a whole loads of tone. I play blues and rock ( clapton to Zepplin) it serves me for my music. When i need to take it out to a small gig, all i have to do i crank the volume way up and i can keep up with the drummer. Not yet plugged into a cabinet.

Over all an excellent amp for the price (200€). If it were stolen I would definetly buy another one

Comments about Ibanez TSA5 Tube Screamer 5W 1x10 Tube Combo Amp:

wow i saw the bad review on here and had to tell you the truth on this amp. I've been playing guitar over 11 years gigging on and off and have owned numerous tube amps. i play a fender vintage telecaster and hot rodded strat. and looove this amp. it is very loud opens up great with the ten inch speaker. gets fender esc cleans and a real hot blues/classic rock tone add a pedal for more crunch. dont be fooled by the one bad review you can play over a drummer in a blues or classic rock band,or plug it into a cab for a ore spread out sound. its a great quality do it all amp with attitude buy it!

Comments about Ibanez TSA5 Tube Screamer 5W 1x10 Tube Combo Amp:

After reading a great review of this in Guitar Player,I couldn't wait to purchase one.Since I have recently gotten a Marshall Class-5 and a Vox AC-4,I assumed the Ibanez would have a similar output. It didn't,this thing is a toy!But the kind folks at MF took my return and processed it quickly,so it's all good!Don't waste your time on this or believing reviews in Guitar Player magazine! But do check out the Vox and Marshall mini-amps,they really are great products for recording and gigging.
