A limited anniversary edition of a rocker's favorite.

The Kustom '36 Coupe combo amp utilizes a dual 6L6 power tube platform with a 12AX7 preamp section and is rated at 36W RMS. With Master Volume controls on both the Rhythm and Lead channels, it's easy to dial in the perfect amount of gain. From warm, chunky rhythm tones to high-voltage, high-sustain rock, it's all there.

Each channel also provides a Pull-Bright function that, when activated, modifies the low-end response for a chunkier, British-type tone. When not pulled, the tonal response is fuller and rounder, a more American-type tone. By the way, the EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble) reflects pure, vintage Kustom specifications.

Drawing on its heritage, Kustom teamed up with U.S. speaker manufacturer Eminence to produce a new driver exclusively for the Coupe Series. The result is the KEI (Kustom-Eminence Integrated) Turbo 12 speaker. With its distinctive aluminum dust cap, the Turbo 12 is a modern interpretation of a vintage speaker design that gives players a taste of the original speaker's tonal properties, which were great for cleaner tones, while successfully handling more modern, high-gain sounds as well.

The '36 Coupe provides an Accutronics Reverb unit with Tone control (another vintage Kustom feature). You'll also find a tube-driven effects loop, a Baltic birch cabinet, a speaker-emulated line out, and a 3-function footswitch that switches channels, turns the effects on or off, and also activates a 10dB overall volume boost for solos.

From sparkling clean to stinging blues and roaring rock, the '36 Coupe does it all—offering boutique amp tones at production amp prices. You owe it to yourself to test drive a Coupe.

The padded Tuck n' Roll panels of the Anniversary Coupe are crafted using the original Uniroyal® Naugahide material but with a bold racing stripe added and a special "1966 — 2006" embroidered logo stitched directly onto the colored panel. Otherwise, the model is identical to the standard '36 Coupe design that is now being endorsed by professional players such as Tracii Guns, Roy Z, Rich Eckhardt (Toby Keith), Van Zant, Jeff Bates, and more. Anniversary Coupes will be shipped with a matching cover that also features the Kustom 40th Anniversary logo.

Comments about Kustom '36 Coupe 40th Anniversary 1x12 Combo Amp:

I have had this amp for about a month now. I gig with a band that plays 70's through current day rock. I need an amp the covers the range of Country clean to SRV to thick ZZ Top distortion.I was using a JCM 800 combo but the clean headroom just wasnt there. I bought the Coupe 36 based on some internet video reviews that seemed to show the amps versatility. I'm glad I did. This is a great gig amp! I can nail a solid SRV Pride and Joy tone on the Rhythm channel with with the gain and volume up high. The adjustable boost switch is perfect for kicking in a solo.On the flip side on the lead channel I get a good version of Tush, and again I kick in the boost for a lead.I did swap out the Kustom/Eminence speaker for my beloved broken in Vintage 30. The stock would do the job, but its a bit woofy and warm. If you predominately play blues or country then the stock speaker is fine. The difference is when I go to the rhythm channel. The Vintage 30 has a good midrange grind and a tighter bottom end.I also would recommend changing out all of the tubes. They are cheap and microphonic. I went with SED 6l6's and GT 12ax7 R's for a bit lower gain and noise. This has really transformed the amp into a something I love playing everyday.I personally havent found anythin under $1,000 that compares. Great rhythm and lead channels, Super flexible active Eq,and the wonderful boost switch. I also recently tried the direct XLR with cabinet emulation. It's the only way to go for gigs. I cant tell the difference in sound. It's also the anniversary model. Number 22/40 made! Kudos to Kustom!

Comments about Kustom '36 Coupe 40th Anniversary 1x12 Combo Amp:

Hi, my name is Rick. I've been playing professionaly for over 45 yrs(old guy),all around planet Earth and used just about any combination of guitar/amp/effects you can name. I own #10 of the forty Kustom '36 Coupe 40th Anniversary amps being built. On the first night I used the Kustom, even my wife commented how sweet the Kustom sounded, not to mention my band mates smiles'. Trust me,sonically this little amp is HUGE. We usually play 50-100 folks and this little jewel just shines. Our music is top 40-C/W,'60-'80's Rock & Southern Rock and the Kustom covers it all. It's easy to set up,lightweight, compact, has clean lines, tight focused sound and gets down with the program. Previously I was using a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe (Green tolex,Celestion 20W speaker. No slouch in the tone department and actually louder). This little Kustom amp simply makes you smile. Oh,my other "Ten" amplifier is my Framus Ruby Riot. Thanks for your time.
