Comments about Markbass Traveler 151P Rear-Ported Compact 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

I got this extension cab to go with my MarkBass CMD 102P combo. Together it makes the power output 500W@4ohms and the whole rig weighs less than 80lbs. Lots of punch and bottom (I use a Warwick Infinity 5 string and play rock with a drummer and two guitarists.) I sold my Ampeg SVT and am using this rig now exclusively.
Speakon jack, 15" neodynium driver, piezo tweeter w/attenuator, metal speaker grille. Super light weight to power ratio.
Great.
Worth the price.

Comments about Markbass Traveler 151P Rear-Ported Compact 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

I needed something to add to my MarkBass cmd-102p 2x10" combo to cut thru the rest of the band sound on stage. I now can get both the tight highs as well as rounded bass which i normally only hear through the front-of-house mix without having to push the combo's volume. I prefer the sound of the piezo highs to other horns (piezos also on the combo). Visually it looks good on stage as well. The combo sits firmly on top with the grooved corner braces.

Comments about Markbass Traveler 151P Rear-Ported Compact 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

This thing is incredibly loud, and the sound is incredible. I bought the 2x10 combo and wanted to add a bit more volume and low end since I play with two guitarists who use multiple stacks. It more than covers the bass end of business, and I haven't even turned it up past 4 yet.

Comments about Markbass Traveler 151P Rear-Ported Compact 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

Cabinet is lightweight, considering that contains a 15" woofer and provides as much low-end as it does. Handles are well-placed, tweeter control is easy to access, and grill is excellent at protecting speaker. One thing to consider if purchasing: you may want to purchase some speaker mounts (4-6) to go around the outer lip of the speaker. This will help keep the speaker mounted in the event of dropping it on its face during loading or shipping.

Comments about Markbass Traveler 151P Rear-Ported Compact 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

I bought this cab because I needed A 15 inch cab and I heard a lot of the Markbass quality. I bought the 151 traveler in Mint condition I received it smelled brand new it has a rug cover which is more resistant than most of vynil covers against scratches tear Etc It has a metal front grill more protection, it has a B&C neodymium speaker the brand used in high end and high quality brands it has a tweeter with an attenuator 400 watts rms I use it with a 410 cab or another 15 inch cab and it sounds great lightweight With the Markbass logo and speaker in its reknown bright color. Beautiful.

Comments about Markbass Traveler 151P Rear-Ported Compact 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

Added this to my MB102 combo to get the 500 watts and enhance the bass. Boy! it has plenty of low end torque. However, because it is rear ported it can become overpowering if placed close to a back wall or corner. Many of the clubs we play at have small or odd shaped stages and speaker placement is limited with 5 to 6 band members. I have started to tilt the 102 combo for my monitor behind me and run a 12 ga cable to the 115P at the front of the stage. Not the set-up I like but it works so well that at some places I don't even have to go through the PA. Might want to think about this rear porting configuration and its placement limitations when planning your purchase.

Could not be more pleased with this cabinet. Added it to my Ampeg 210 combo and it sounds great. Clean and punchy bottom. Lived up to all my expectations especially ordering it without having played it. And of course the light weight makes it even more incredible.

Comments about Markbass Traveler 151P Rear-Ported Compact 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:

I've returned to playing gigs after a few years of self imposed retirement. I didn't even have a rig at all at the beginning of the year having sold off my very heavy old GK and Hartke set up. I wanted something lightweight and compact enough to fit in a Smart car! I started out with an Ampeg combo but I had no luck with it. I then bought a Quilter Bass Block amp which I fell in love with for the weight and the sound. I was trying to find the right speaker cab and went through a few borrowed choices until I came across this MarkBass cab. I really liked the sound and I didn't use to like 15" speakers at all. I think I'm the only bass player who didn't like B-15 amps! The 15" speaker in the MarkBass is very wide range and the piezo tweeter adds a touch of brightness without being harsh at all. The cabinet is very easy to move. It weighs about 40 pounds but the way the handles are placed it seems much lighter. It sounds fantastic with any bass I play through it. Fender P, Fender Jazz or Rickenbacker. I'm doing mostly small clubs and this cab puts out! Nice beefy lows and clear midrange. If I were playing larger venues, I'd get another!

I added this cabinet to my TTE500/102P rig and I have finally found the sound I've been looking for! It even sounds tremendous by itself. So in a pinch, that's the cab I'm going to grab for rehearsal or a small venue.
