Comments about Marshall DSL1 50th Anniversary '90s Era 1W Tube Combo Guitar Amp:
Been playing since 1981 and this is my first Marshall amp! I have owned other amps, mainly Fenders, Peavey, Ampeg, Crate, etc... (Too many to recall). I grew up with the listening to Hendrix, Zep, VH, etc., and this amp hits it dead on for me! As soon as I saw this amp, I knew it would be great, and like the previous reviewer, it meets all my expectations in a 1-watt version. I also like the button on the back that reduces it to 0.1 watt so you can rip out late into the night (or early morning before work) without bothering neighbors or people sleeping in the next room, and I Do NoT sacrifice tones, distortion, etc. I like the two channels options, which is different from the three previous amps Marshall put out for the 50th Year anniversary. I use them both, but really enjoy the classic gain setting. The tone shift button is cool as it changes the frequencies of the tone output. The Deep button adds more depth and girth to your sound. Really pretty cool! It does NOT have a Presence or Reverb setting, but I use the ones off my pedal. Added bonus is the FX loop and I run my Digitech RP1000 to the back. I play my Gibson SG thru it and it sounds ridiculous! I really enjoy this amp as I get the great sounds without blowing the walls down like with my 40-Watt Fender Hot Rod Deluxe amp! Been playing this sucker for two weeks straight, 7 hours a day and I like it better each and every time I plug in and fire it up! Lastly, just because it is 1 watt does not mean it is not loud. It is very loud for a bedroom. My ears hurt when it is cranked up like half way! (No Lie) I laugh actually! I caught a 15% off deal at MF so I saved some money on it. I know it is expensive, but well worth it, and a great little amp that is built like a tank! Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. :)

Comments about Marshall DSL1 50th Anniversary '90s Era 1W Tube Combo Guitar Amp:
Been a Marshall user since 1968.Had to get this.Meet all my expections in a 1 watt version.I can get the same sounds as my 2000 dsl 50, with my 1960av cab,but with a much lower volume. And when I plug it in to my 1060av, it just kicks at a lower volume.Love it!!!
