In a nutshell, the Marshall all-valve, 2-channel JVM210C combo is a 2-channel version of the most versatile Marshall amplifier ever made, the JVM410C. It also boasts more gain than any other Marshall to date-and that's really saying something.

Each of its 2 channels are completely independent of each other, and they boast 3 Modes, all 6 of which are footswitchable and feature their own unique gain structure. It makes the JVM 2-channel effectively 6 Marshalls in one.

The JVM210C has studio-quality digital reverb with a level control for each channel. This is also footswitchable, as are the amp's 2 Master Volume controls and the Series/Parallel effects loop. Resonance and Presence are equipped with master controls.

An ingenious footswitch (UK patent pending) and the fact that all the amp's switching (channel/modes, Reverb, Master Volume selection, FX loop) can be done via MIDI and you're looking at an incredibly flexible amp. The 4-way footswitch boasts LEDs and memory, plus it connects to the amp via a regular guitar cable.

From the cleanest clean to the filthiest distortion ever found in a Marshall and all points in-between, the JVM210C all-valve combo will give you whatever tone you need right when you need it.

A 2-channel version of the JVM410C Combo

  • 100W power

  • 12AX7s and 4 x EL34s
  • 2 x 12" Celestion speakers

Comments about Marshall JVM Series JVM210C 100W 2x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

I've played professionally and in studios for decades and have had dozens of amps including other Marshalls, boutique class-A amps, Fenders, custom builts, on and on. a couple months ago I started playing live again after a few years and wanted a new more versatile rig and got a JVM 210C. Bottom line: this is the best sounding amp I've ever owned.
The clean channel is clear and resonant with smooth presence and sparkle, and that's just the cleanest setting. There are two more presets which I add progressively more grunge to each and then there's the overdrive channel with three more presets topping out with the most incredible screaming crunch. Any one of these settings would make the amp worthwhile, and having all six at your foot (switches) for instant access is exactly what I've wanted... seemingly for ever. I plan to get another one soon and run stereo. It also delivers great sound in recording. I've almost quit using my THD class A (which is a great amp, don't get me wrong) but I get great sounds immediately with the JVM, whether using my Tele clean or a Strat or humbucker custom in overdrive.
Programming the foot switch was a bit of a bother and it has occasionally "forgotten" my settings and required a redo. However, the presets can be accessed by MIDI and I just ordered a pedal which should allow instant changes of channel presets and all my effects.
Whether you play full-tilt shred or a variety of styles, as I do, this amp will not disappoint.

    Marshall JVM 210C

Comments about Marshall JVM Series JVM210C 100W 2x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

After many years using a great 2 x12 Roland VGA-7 modeling amp I was ready to get into real tube sound. I had used a Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue for a while, and found the tone OK, but not what I was after. Enter the Marshall JVM 210C. I was amazed at the clean channel/mode. If you think that Marshalls are not meant for clean tones then plug in a Strat and check this amp out. The tone is lush and beautiful. Then start going through the modes and into the OD channel. Whoa baby, talk about great crunch and overdrive. The blend of Celestion Vintage with Heritage 12": speakers works. If you have pedals you like try them in front of the clean channel. Holy crap! I put an Ibanez TS9 in front and can get a really great SRV/Hendrix sound. Using my SG and other humbucker equipped guitars produces the more classic Marshall sounds we've come to expect from these amps --- hard driving and full of great overtones. The amp is not cheap. Yes, you are paying for the name too. But this amp is a keeper.
