Comments about Marshall JVMC212 2x12 Guitar Extension Cab:

The JVMC212 cabinet is a perfect match sonically and visually for JVM combos with 2x12's. It adds better depth and volume. It can be used stacked so that the player (that's you!) gets more sound to your ears, or placed side by side and angles for better sound dispersion in larger environments.

The only change I'd ask Marshall to make (and you can by after market parts to do it yourself) is to put a three position switch like the 1960A cabs: 4 ohms, 2x8ohms (stereo), or 16 ohms (the cab has only 16 ohms as shipped).

Note to the posters who downrate the cab because Marshall heads are wider than the cab: the 1936 cab is designed for heads (also 2x12, but somewhat different speaker configuration); this cab is designed for JVM Combos.

Comments about Marshall JVMC212 2x12 Guitar Extension Cab:

This is exactly what i've been waitng for !! Something lightweight and versatile ! First thing i did was remove the jack in back and made a plate and added another jack to make this a stereo 8 ohm , mono 4 ohm cab . I just love this thing !!! You can also buy a prewired jack plate for the same setup including 16 ohm mono . I don't why they didn't think of that to begin with but that's allright !

          Size and weight deceiving!!!

Comments about Marshall JVMC212 2x12 Guitar Extension Cab:

Good speaker cabinet... WAY more sound than it looks like it should provide... especially more bottom end than expected!Easy to lift and transport.
          Sounds great!
Nice cabinet! Love the mix of speakers.
Nearly perfect... tolex lifting inside the cabinet... nothing a bit of gaffer's tape can't fix but a little unexpected for a new cabinet.
As with all Marshall, there is intrinsic value to the name alone...

          JVMC212 - Great Extension Cabinet

Comments about Marshall JVMC212 2x12 Guitar Extension Cab:

First, please be aware that the JVMC212 is a speaker cabinet specifically designed to fit under the JVM series of combination amps (with 2 X 12" speakers) such as the JVM410C & JVM210C. It is a perfect match both visually & dimensionally to these amps. They look perfect together! The cabinet is not as wide as the JVM amp heads. Meaning the head will overhang the speaker cabinet. I never tried it but, in my opinion, this would not look or be good.Pros:Cab: The cabinet quality is 2nd to none. Build is exactly as stated in the typical product description.Speakers: Adding another Celestion 12" Vintage and 12" Heritage speaker to the same that comes with the JVM 2 X 12 combination amp sounds incredible. More bass, more mids, more highs, more of everything you can bring to the table with the JVM amp controls.Con:A little pricey but, you do get what you are paying for. If you can, try holding off until a good sale price comes along with a 20% coupon.

Great cab for a great combo

          By Rock n Roll Cole

          from Niagara Falls, Canada

Comments about Marshall JVMC212 2x12 Guitar Extension Cab:

Just love what Marshall has done here to add to the JVM Combo or any 2x12 combo, for that matter any head or whatever you need a great 2x12 cab for. It is the JVMC212,the C being for combo, so it is a little shorter in length than a full size head but sits under a 2x12 JVM combo perfectly. The 2 different types of high end Celestions drivers in it give you maximum tonal bliss and being an open back cabinet you get almost a surround type of sound and still loads of low end and the mids that Marshalls are know for.

          Combo Extension

          By jvm man

          from canada

Comments about Marshall JVMC212 2x12 Guitar Extension Cab:

This cabinet is designed for an extension cab for the jvm combo's. It fits perfect and adds a huge bottom end to the sound. It is an open back cab. At first when i ordered it, i was disappointed when i got it. But after plugging it in, i am now an open back groupie and closed backs are a thing of the past for me. I'm very impressed with the bottom end coming from the half stack, combo style.

Not as wide as the JVM205H head

          By Brad-GOix9

          from Ohio

Comments about Marshall JVMC212 2x12 Guitar Extension Cab:

I can't believe they made this thing so it is not as wide as the JVM head. The head hangs over the edges and the feet do not line up with the cups. It really isn't useable with the JVM head. The quality if the cabinet is good and the sound is very good.
