50W of pure, all-tube Marshall sound with a roaring Marshall half stack for a great packaged deal.

This Marshall half stack lets you unleash that pure rock sound with raw power. With this amp and guitar speaker package, you can add the Marshall MA Series MA50H 50W tube guitar amp head and MA412 slanted guitar speaker cabinet to your rig, all for a great price.

50W of pure, all-tube Marshall sound at a never-before-seen price
Marshall has always sought to provide outstanding tone to guitarists of every budget, and with the MA amps, all-tube Marshall tone is now more affordable than ever. The MA50H 50W tube head was carefully designed by Marshall's R&D team using the same basic principles as all Marshall amps to deliver colorful, dynamic, unmistakable Marshall tube tone in a road-ready package.

Attractive Looks
The aesthetics of the Marshall MA50H amp head have been specially designed to create a look that stands apart from most other Marshall amps, while still retaining the essence of what people have become familiar with for over 45 years. Two orange LEDs illuminate the interior of the unit, highlighting the power tubes. This effect is visible through the fret cloth where the trusty white script logo is mounted onto a solid piece of transparent Perspex.

Tube Power and Tone Simply Executed
The Marshall MA50H is powered using the traditional Marshall mainstays of ECC83 double triode tubes in the preamp, and EL34 pentode tubes in the power amp. The layout and controls are kept simple, allowing you to explore unhindered the full potential of the all-tube tone within. The MA50H tube amp head has separate EQ stages for both the Clean and Overdrive channels so you can optimally adjust each one without compromising the other. An extra benefit has been provided in the form of a tube-driven Boost function on the OD channel giving you, for example, a solo boost with more volume and gain. The tube amplifier also contains a spring reverb for use with all channels within the amp.

Intuitive And Practical
The MA50H was designed with the flexible control demanded by today's players in mind, but with a streamlined feature set to keep it cost effective. Whether in your own home or gigging, setting up the sounds and relative levels is very easy. The supplied footswitch assists live performance letting you toggle between settings like Clean to Overdrive, Clean to Boosted Overdrive, and Overdrive to Boosted Overdrive, ensuring maximum versatility.

Even though the MA range is designed as a no-frills, all-tube guitar amplifier, Marshall included a couple of extra features that allow for even more versatility. In addition to the all-tube preamp and power amp tone, Marshall MA amplifiers are equipped with an onboard spring reverb tank for an extra dimension to your sound. With the front-panel level control you can easily dial in how much you need for your own taste. All MA amplifiers are also equipped with a serial external effects loop for guitarists who want to add effects units into their sound. The nominal level of -10dBV is suited to stompboxes primarily, but not exclusively.

Marshall MA MA412 Slanted Guitar Speaker Cabinet
The Marshall MA412 slanted and straight guitar speaker cabs were specially designed to complement the unmistakable Marshall tone of the MA Series of affordable all-tube amp heads. The speaker cabs are loaded with four 12" Eminence AX-75 speakers and priced for the working musician.

Marshall MA Series MA50H 50W Tube Guitar Amp Head Features:

If you are looking for tone...

Comments about Marshall MA50H and MA412 Half Stack:

Couldn't be happier! Don't wait, go get one!
Look no further. Let me first say this, before and during and after I bought this stack I read COUNTLESS negative reviews about the entire MA series from Marshall. People saying the only thing good about it is the fact that is says Marshall on the front. BUT you have to understand, these people who are giving these reviews are probably sitting at Guitar Center playing it with the gain turned all the way up and the volume at about 9o"clock or trying to make it sound like a metal amp when it isn't. There aren't too many tube amps I know of and have played that produce any good sound at those settings anyway. So let me give you the truth about this amp... Let me first say I am a TONE FREAK and I am VERY picky when it comes to settling on a certain sound. I use this amp to gig with and it is suitable for just about any venue you will play at and for 50watts, it is LOUD. I never turn it up past 1o"clock, and it's seldom when I turn it up that loud. I also play an all american strat through this thing but mainly my esp ltd ec-1000 with SD JB and 59' pickups and the sounds that I get just from my guitar through the amp itself is to die for! For example, grab you a strat or any single coil guitar, turn the clean channe on, set the reverb at 3o"clock, and the presence and resonance at 12o"clock and you've got anything from John Mayer to Eric Clapton. Or grab you a les paul or any humbucker pickup type guitar, turn the volume at about half along with the treb and bass and crunch balance, put the gains and mids at about 2/3 and you can litterally get anything from old AC/DC, LZ, and GNR to modern alternative rock. The high british gain is so creamy and chuncky at the same time. Adjust your tone dept and pickup volumes and you have an arsnal of amazing rock and roll ALL MARSHALL sounds. Roll your volumes back and it cleans up just like you would expect without losing tone quality. The boost function gives you that extra gain and acts like a 3rd channel on the amp and is very usefull. BUT like any tube amp, it takes you adjusting the EQ on the clean and dirty channel to get YOUR sound. It also has an effects out loup on the back so it's perfect for any pedal you want to run though it. All in all, this amp gives me my dream tone at a GREAT price. I traded a few old unused instruments and amps and got this for 300$ and I couldn't be happier. I will keep this amp until it falls apart. I simply cannot stop playing it because Im in AWE of it's incredible sounds and I can't believe people are giving it such bad reviews. Believe me, if you dig rock and roll of ANY sound, old and modern, heavy or soft, the Marshall MA delievers that great tube sound at a great price. The only thing I have to complain about is that there isn't a master volume on this amp, other than that, this constantly discontented tone freak has finally found my solace.
Solid built. slab some caster on the bottom of the cab, don't throw the head around and this thing will last you a long time!
Great from top to bottom.

Comments about Marshall MA50H and MA412 Half Stack:

I love this amp, it rocks. My Sonny Jr. Cruncher weaves nicely with it during practice. Don't listen to the Marshall snobs that only play 30 year old British Plexis (cuz that is so chiq ya know) bottom line Marshall made this amp to do the things that only Marshall Amps do. If you want to nail the classic rock or whoop out some Jimi Hendrix or Santana, this is your huckleberry.
Not a lot of features but the ones it does have are totally dialable. The overdrive with boost channel people are whining about is merely because they cannot play a guitar or dial in an amp. If the overdrive on this beast makes you scared it is because this amp has some power, you can feel the sizzle in your fillings when you play, so if you can't play, you will hear it! Don't blame the instrument, this bad boy is a Marshall through and through, some folk are just peeved cuz they dropped bookoo bucks on a more expensive Marshall and need to feel justified about there purchase. Don't hate on the Vietnamese, they work hard and for less money to make the amp possible, if this were wired in England they would charge twice the price and nobody would complain.
This amp gets ooooooh and ahhhhhhs. It certainly looks nicer on stage than I do. If Marshall would make the amp uglier, so I could appear more handsome, I would give it a 10 rating.
This is a lot of amp for the price!!!! It sounds great with an electric violin hooked up to it with some of that real tube driven spring reverb, very nice. This amp also loves pedals so much, I think they want to get married and have little amp/pedal babies.

Comments about Marshall MA50H and MA412 Half Stack:

Just purchased this Marshall MA50H stack. Came in the mail yesterday. This thing really blew me away. Ive played guitar for about 11 years now, and Ive never owned a Marshall before. I promise you will not be dissapointed. The clean channel is so crisp and thick, and the OD channel is chunky. I play a Gibson Les Paul, as well as a PRS SE CUSTOM through this with a Digitech RP-500 pedal. Buy It! And the stock tubes are just fine.
