I am happy with this amp... it really fits my needs.
I use a Marshall half stack with 410H for gigs ( Bogner 40Watt 212 also) so I needed a smaller amp to practice with. I had the older version of this amp but sold it never expecting to purchase a new one because it was so frustrating trying to practice a song and not have a foot pedal to change channels with only two channels and no effects.

When I came across the MG15FXMS Micro Stack it looked to me like the Marshall designers listened to guitarist who use this amp to practice because it now comes with 4 channels and the option to purchase the foot pedal. Now its functional. With MP3 input, headset and pedals you can set the rig for a particular song or song set nicely. The delay, reverb, phase and flanger effects provide you the opportunity to get close to songs without a pedal board. However, if you want to play this amp with a band as the gentalmen mentioned earlier it was not designed to keep up with a band. I will say many years back I blew a tube and used the old 15w onstage via mic through the house PA and it worked fine, just saying.

If you search sites you will find several combos at this price with more power and/or similar features so part of my purchasing this amp is nostalgia. I believe the Marshall guys deserve credit, it really looks like they are listening to customer feedback. Thats wonderful!

Additional Note: If you need a tool to practice takes a look at the BOSS JS-8 eBand product. Its a nice tool with designed to help you practice. Good luck.
Made well no issues with the construction

I play in a pop punk band and we recently got this amp because our old one was really bad. This amp has a great sound, but the only thing that's disappointing about it is its power. I have the volume and everything all the way up but I still have to be standing right next to the amp to hear it (NOTE: that situation is just when the rest of the band is playing with me, when im playing by myself it's golden!)

Comments about Marshall MG15FXMS Micro Stack:

I bought a 'restock' and was impressed firstly with the re-packing done at MF.
This my first Marshall or solid state amp so I'm exploring multiple variables here. The only minor annoyance is that the clean channel still has a slight reverb but this may be a design feature to give a 'big sound' to a great little amp.

Comments about Marshall MG15FXMS Micro Stack:

I have only owned 1 other Marshall other then my recent purchase of this one. Out of the box the quality and appearance,(the AWE factor) were awesome, with a small concern for the control knobs (plastic)... I have always been impressed with the Marshall sound but never able to afford the price tag. This mini stack changed that. Great Marshall sound and very responsive which took some getting used to. Tons of tone. The things that have impressed me most is how easily a great sound can be achieved without blowing down the front door to the house. At this price it is perfect for anyone who works 9 to 5 and does not want spend countless hours and money trying to chisel out your perfect sound, this amp can and will handle it... Impressive JIM..

      Great Little Amp!

      By Michael Arabia

Comments about Marshall MG15FXMS Micro Stack:

I'm a hobbyist and play classic rock. I had a 30W amp which was way too loud for my room and the reverb didn't work well. I bought this Marshall amp from MF and loved it from the start. It sounds and looks great. The effects and overdrive are better than expected. I was able to sell my old amp and 4 foot pedals which were'nt needed anymore! And it's a Marshall stack!

      Great Guitar for the price!

Comments about Marshall MG15FXMS Micro Stack:

I finally found an amp I can turn past 1 without it being too loud. I got the Silver version- Looks super cool. Only thing I don't like is that the Input Jack & Speaker Output Jacks are plastic. No probs. so far.

Comments about Marshall MG15FXMS Micro Stack:

Incredible bang for the buck. This is a typical Marshall amp, and a lot louder than it looks. All four channels are programmable for the specific sound you want, or keep the factory settings, they're not too bad either. Highly recommend purchasing the foot-controller (separate from Marshal/Korg) if you are doing any gigging. Unit is easy to transport and takes up very little space. WELL worth the investment.

Comments about Marshall MG15FXMS Micro Stack:

Ive owned the original version(no FXs) of this Amp for over 2 years now and havent had a single issue with it. It gets scuffed up like any Amp that goes wherever you do and still sounds great if not better than the first day. The first thing I noticed was how loud it can actually get. I wasnt expecting 15 watts to allow me to cut through my drums but at about 7 it does very well.I can't speak for the built-in effects but Ive used Boss & Digitech effects pedals both sound amazing through it. If you're in the market for a durrable, great sounding little stack style Amp that strikes up a conversation everywhere it goes, buy this one.

IT is a great starter amp. The distortion is great without any bass. The price is good for this kind of amp. I would highly reccomend this amp.
