This 400W Orange Amplifiers OBC115 Bass Speaker cabinet is made from 13-ply high-density 18mm birch plywood. Tough skids on the speaker enclosure's base result in enhanced acoustic connection to the stage.
The hi-tech OBC115 bass cab is side-ported and provides for speaker self-correction. The ports are tuned by Orange to emphasize the low end and get a better response. The Eminence 15" bass speaker delivers full, rounded bass tone.
Internally strutted to avoid cabinet vibration, the Orange OBC115 bass enclosure won't rattle, even under the most demanding conditions. The sound is amazing, extending the bottom-end for deep bass response. With a hefty 400W power handling, the Orange OBC115 bass cabinet's deep sound packs some serious punch.

Comments about Orange Amplifiers OBC Series OBC115 400W 1x15 Bass Speaker Cabinet:
I love this thing. For years I had only been using my GK Microbass with the single 12", unported speaker, in an aluminum box. And sure, that thing is great for portability vs sound, but eventually i got tired of never really hearing what we call, BASS, like the frequencies below 100 hz. So i got the OBC115, and run it from the GK. Wow.Suddenly i remembered why I play bass.I'm not even really driving it that hard... the GK has 150W when you engage a 2nd speaker (100W normal) and realistically I don't know how much more I would need, although this cab is rated for 400W... someday I'lll try out a different setup and probably hurt my internal organs trying. The OBC115 sounds great, warm, solid and responsive to crunch without bailing out. However it's like 60 pounds, where before I gigged with the GK combo that is 25 pounds. I also stack a Fender 105W Twin reverb in between and pair the signal coming from guitars and synths and damn. damn!My neighbours hate it.
