Comments about Peavey Delta Blues 30W 1x15 Tube Combo Guitar Amp:

I've only heard these on youtube and they sound fantastic! I'd like to buy one, but I read a comment on these somewhere and the person said his circuit board fried and that Peavy has discontinued this part.
I found this hard to believe as they're still selling new ones, so I called Peavy Parts and sure enough...it's true!
I've also read reviews where folks have said their Delta Blues amp is still going strong after 15 years, but just be aware, if the circuit board fails, you're SOL. I'm writing this because I feel like Peavy should support their products still being sold new today.

Comments about Peavey Delta Blues 30W 1x15 Tube Combo Guitar Amp:

I purchased this amp several years ago and it is one solid piece of gear. Where it really shines is its clean channel. And if you place some effects/processer in front, it becomes a real killer. I went for the 15" instead of the 2x10 because I wanted the extra bottom for blues. If it didn't work out I planned on changing the baffle to the 2x10. To my surprise not only did I get the extra bottom, the highs sparkled too. This is a great voiced speaker.

I own many quality amps (Fender, Marshall, Peavey, Roland, Crate, Vox, Line 6, Trace Elliot) everything from a full stack Plexi to a Vibro-King, and this Delta Blues can hang with any of them. I recently put some casters on it because it is heavy, but hey….it's all tube. It is also a looker with nice covering & hardware.

For those who haven't tried one out I suggest you do. It was exactly what I was looking for and it could be for you too.

Comments about Peavey Delta Blues 30W 1x15 Tube Combo Guitar Amp:

I've been playing acoustic guitar for 34+ years. I've tinkered but finally got serious about electric a little over 5 years ago. In that five years I've went through several amps, tube and solid state. I've still got other's including Fenders, Palmer, Marshal & an old Epiphone tube amp, but this is my go-to amp. Such a sweet clean, I just love it. I've not used the dirty channel much as I just don't play that style but I have tinkered with it a bit and it sounds good to me but you would have to be the true judge of that. My Palmer Fat 50 is my second choice but those are hard to find here in the USA. To me the Peavey Delta Blues with the 15" is a Fender killer! So yes, I would recommend this to friends over and over and over. I actually use the Tremolo on one song our band does and it is pleasing to us but again as with dirty channels, I don't have a lot of experience with tremolos either. Reverb is another thing that is a personal choice with players, I happen to like the reverb on this amp, you just have to listen for yourself. Check out comparison videos on Youtube of this amp and Fenders! You might just be amazed!

The only con I could think of is it is heavy but not any more so than any of my other tube amps. One of the main reasons I tried this amp is I was tired of lugging around my 1982 Fender Bassman 10
