A heavy-duty half stack with the volume and versatility you need.

The Raven RG100H and RG412 combine to create a heavy-duty half stack that features a variety of tones and effects. This Raven half stack offers versatility and volume at an affordable price.

    RG100H Amp Head:

The Raven RG100H is a guitar amp head that delivers an impressive 100W RMS as a half stack and features a wide variety of great tones. Also, the RG100H features "tonal recall" effect switching which automatically recalls your stored effect when you switch channels. The 16 Digital Effects are assignable quickly and easily to each of the 2 channels, providing just the right amount of ambience to your performance.

Additional features of the Raven RG100H amp include a parallel effect loop send and return for use with a pedal board or other effects. You can even use the effect send as a line out. The Raven RG100 amp head is a perfect companion for the Raven RG412 speaker enclosure. This half stack delivers significantly more volume than other half stacks at the same price, because the RG100 delivers full output power even when driving just one Raven RG412 speaker enclosure.

    RG412 Speaker Cab:

The Raven RG412 is a monophonic guitar speaker cab rated at 260W RMS. The RG412 speaker cabinet easily handles the most powerful amp heads on the market. The four 12" speakers are specially designed with large mass magnets and high-efficiency motor structures, coupled with a traditional cone design. The result is a very efficient, high power-handling speaker cabinet that delivers more sound with an extremely musical distortion characteristic.

The Raven RG412 speaker cab includes a heavy-duty steel grille, caster sockets, and large side handles for easy transport. This 4 ohm cabinet is designed to be the perfect companion for the Raven RG100H amp head. Check them out and hear how they stack up to anything else on the market. The Raven half stack rocks.

As I've said earlier, it's great for the money, it gets the job done, and it's versatile for many different styles of music due to the effect features, and the one touch switchable channels with effect memory. I've been playing professionally for over 40 years now, and I've played through many amps, and I have been just as satisfied with this one as I have others that were much more expensive. For the money, this is a great amp.
The on board effects are pretty good as far as on board goes, and with the style of music we play being varied from warm to crunch, the one button channel selector with the memory setting for effects is very helpful. The on board tuner is fair, but not near as good as an independant tuner. It's hard to really get a good reading to tune up with any precision. The basic features in the back of the head are easy to read & get to in dim light. The only feature I wish it had was a second instrument input for the other channel. All in all, the features are great for what I paid for the amp.
The Raven amp has a great sound for what we play. We are a Christian contemporary / Rock group that plays a variety of styles that go from a nice warm tone to a hard crunch, and the Raven amp has really impressed me on both sides of the coin. The only drawback I can find in the Raven for the sound quality is that we played an outdoor event where I needed to really crank it up loud, and after I got it cranked up pretty good, it had some distortion in the speakers, but it's not very often we have to get that loud, so overall it's pretty good.
You get what you pay for. I wouldn't stand the Raven up to a Marshall or anything, but for the money, it's a great amp that gets the job done with great quality sound, and good features. For the money, this is a great amp, looks good, user friendly, sounds great, well put together. What more can you ask for for this kind of money? It's a great bang for the buck.

I played this amp several months ago, and I must admit it sounded better than any other entry level solid state that I played that day, so I walked out with it. I've found that as far as guitar amps go, one statement rings true....You get what you pay for. The clean channel is great and sounds nice and buttery if you tweak it out correctly. The lead channel is pretty much worthless, so I don't even use it because the "distortion" makes me want to throw this amp in the pool. The effects sound very digtal, but do add some much needed help to the overall sound of the amp. I run several Boss pedals through the clean channel, and it sounds decent. Definitely very LOUD. The speaker cabinet sounded great for about 2 days.....BUT, it is a huge piece of crap. Construction is horrible, and after a couple days of cranking it up, it rattled and buzzed so bad that I thought I blew a speaker. Turns out the supports inside came unglued and caused the buzzing. I tried to return it, but GC said it wasn't covered under warranty because I was overdriving the cab with my pedals and it was only rated for use with the RG100H. Figures, huh? Now I can't crank it without it sounding like all four speakers are blown. Disgusting. Anyway, if you need a LOUD amp to get you by, you can't beat the price on this amp (as I said, the clean channel is awesome when running distortion pedals). Otherwise, save your money and go with a quality made amp.

    Raven Half Stack

    By Charles Jackson

Comments about Raven RG100H and RG412 Half Stack:

Compared to others like it the power, price n look's are there but the amount of effect's at one time is the issue..The effect's themselves are fine but why not mix n match..
Didn't know you can only use one effect at a time which was very disappointing..
Very sturdy n very attractive head and cabinet..
Can not be the price for the power you recieve fron this amp..

    Raven Stack

Comments about Raven RG100H and RG412 Half Stack:

    good amp overall.
This half stack is good for the money. it puts out a lot of power. (on the clean it will make ur floor vibrate) the clean channel is great. the distortion is ok but its not the best. the fx work well but it would be nice if you could use more than 1 at once.
my amp was great but i just traded it in to get a smaller amp.
its a very good priced amp. definately worth it

Exaclty what I was looking for.

Comments about Raven RG100H and RG412 Half Stack:

This raven half stack is amazing. Don't listen to any of these hater reviews. its most likely because they lack experience in managing their sound. my multi effects pedal puts out some amazing sounds. i just needed something with alot of power. and this thing kept up with my friends triple rec! i started playing metal. and this thing did great. keep it under 7 (which, if your reading this comment, thats more than enough power than you'll need any time soon) because the bass starts to sound bad. but then again its not a bass. if you roll of the bass a little you get a clear tone very loud. i normally play on the rhythm channel with my effects pedal. but lately ive been playing with lead, and i get that really classic tube sound (almost). so overall. get this for the big sound, not the effects. play around with it outside to get a loud clear tone. you will like what you hear.

    Great Amp

    By James-kuIqd

    from New Jersey

Comments about Raven RG100H and RG412 Half Stack:

I love this amp and brand. What you have to realize is that this doesn't have hard distortion so it's not for metal. If you read all the bad reviews chances are almost all of them are people who play metal. Don't get me wrong i play metal too you just need a distortion pedal n it will own.

    Inexpensive, but that's about it.

Comments about Raven RG100H and RG412 Half Stack:

My band was recording some demos in our drummer's garage, and our friend had left this amp there from a practice for a side gig. Of course, I was interested in trying it out to record, so we hooked it up and stuck an MXL condenser mic in front of it.We're a rock/ska/punk band, so I started recording clean tracks. Right off the bat, I was disappointed. The clean was incredibly weak, maybe even weaker than my 30-watt Behringer combo. Lots of volume, but very thin sound with no body. Next up, we went to the distorted tracks, and that only brought more disappointment. The distortion was incredibly thin, and it seemed like there was no way to get rid of the trebley tone it had. I kept the clean since it was just a demo, but I could not live with the distortion. I love experimenting, so we finally got a decent sound by running our other guitarist's Fender Hot Rod Deluxe through the cab.All in all, this isn't an absolutely terrible amp, but you get what you pay for. I wouldn't buy it, nor would I ever gig with it.

    Rad Dope Yo!

Comments about Raven RG100H and RG412 Half Stack:

Well I don't really know much about amps/cabs but I don't regret my decision to get this guy. The only thing that urked me, was that the other day I was jammin with some buds, and the feedback was absolutly killing me. It may have been my guitar, may have been the half stack, I'm not sure. It's also a lot lighter than anyone expects, which is great because I need to climb boatloads of stairs. Overall I'd give it a 9.5 of 10 (keep in mind I don't know much about heads/cabs)

Comments about Raven RG100H and RG412 Half Stack:

ok so i was looking for a amp, something that would get me started on gigs with a band im in. I went to a guitar center and the only half way decent amp i could find in my price range was this cheap thing they called a amp. So i bought it and the appearance looked amazing and i thought for sure this was a awsome deal. I plugged in my guitar and all i get is this sythisizer sound, it was weird, all i wanted was a nice distored sound and instead i get something completely different. After about playing this thing a few times the sound decides to cut out and i get this huge popping noise when i switch the lead to rythm so now i dont even have a working amp. Ya the effects were nice and that amp could blare but the qaulity sucks! This is nothing you want to be skrewing with, go save your money and buy something else

    great amp and very loud

    By heavy,heavy,nathan

Comments about Raven RG100H and RG412 Half Stack:

this amp is amazing! the only thing i do not like bout it is that the distortion really isnt that good and has pretty bad feedback only if you turn it up past 7 which i really have no need for any ways. but all you need for that is a noise suppressor. for the distortion i use a behringer ultra metal and that fixes it up quickly. this amp sounds beastly with my schecter damien 7 string and my ibanez (forgot what it is called). overall this amp works good for any gig.
