OVERVIEW

A trio of delays of in one pedal that can run at one time.

One of the most recurring things discussed in the TC Electronic community regarding their Flashback Delay pedals, is that they sound so good that they wish they could have several of the delay tones running at the same time. The Flashback Triple Delay is the result of TC Electronic's engineers making these dreams come true and it's ready to rock your delay-hungry socks off.

The Sonic Multiverse
Ever heard a tape echo run through a ping-pong delay and then into a reverse delay? No? Well it sounds amazing. With the Flashback Triple Delay you can go as crazy as your imagination allows and with the added function of running the delays in series or in parallel, you can go from lush divine delays to otherworldly soundscapes in an instant. Time and space have never been easier to manipulate.

Trippin' On Triplets
As if having three high-quality delays running at the same time isn't enough, TC Electronics has also added a dedicated subdivision knob that lets you assign different rhythmic patterns to each delay. You'll get everything from dotted eighths to triplets and on to several types of dual delays. So whether you're going for a smooth rhythmic-roll or a full-on psychedelic-trip, Flashback Triple Delay is sure to deliver.

TonePrints In Tandem
Flashback Triple Delay is the only delay pedal that lets you run several custom-tuned delay sounds at once. Imagine running delay TonePrints from Steve Morse, Guthrie Govan and John Petrucci all at the same time; the result is spectacular. Add to that the option of creating your very own delay tones via TC's free TonePrint Editor and you've got yourself one of the most versatile delay pedals ever made.

Comments about TC Electronic Flashback Triple Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

I bought this Flashback Triple Delay pedal to replace the original Flashback delay pedal I had. This pedal is extremely versatile and makes it simple to dial in the delay you want. It's true bypass so it doesn't change your tone and the quality of the delay sounds great. 2 of my favorite things about this pedal vs the original Flashback delay are 1, The 3 presets make it way easier to change delay during a song or in between songs. I currently have delay slot 1 with a quarter note, 2 with a dual delay (quarter note and dotted eight), and 3 is a long space echo for swells. 2, The tap tempo function is way better than the original. With the original flashback you have to hold the button down for about 3 seconds, it then mutes your signal as you strum in the desired tempo, this can be really annoying if you need to tap the tempo in during a song or if you don't have enough time in between songs to tap in a new tempo. With the Flashback Triple Delay you have an onboard tap tempo switch that you can adjust anytime without muting your signal. So if you want a delay pedal that is versatile, has tons of delay types and subdivision rhythms, 3 presets, and really easy to dial in the exact delay you want this is a great choice.

Comments about TC Electronic Flashback Triple Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

Having the ability to select from 3 different delay engines is amazing! For me, this pedal is beyond perfect! I play ambient / post rock types of music and the triple delay makes all the right noises. The only con I could find was that it's quite hard to see the selections you're making. This pedal is a mirror and it's hard to see what mode you're selecting. Whatever, I've pretty much memorized where everything is as would anyone who uses this pedal a lot, which you will!!

Comments about TC Electronic Flashback Triple Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

It a great sounding pedal with a huge amount of potential sounds. You can stack 3 delays in series or parallel and sync the tempos with the tap tempo. It sounds GREAT, but there are many problems. First, the pedal requires more power than most pedals so if you are using a power supply like the Pedal Power 2, you have to use 2 slots instead of 1. The internal dipswitches require you to use a tool to open the pedal. The thing that would turn most people off from this product is that you CANNOT use the tap tempo when the pedal is bypassed. You have to save presets and can only recall the preset. Also, the toneprint slots are not intuitive to use. There could be firmware updates to change this in the future. But the pedal sound AMAZING so I do recommend it! It has stereo in and out, expression pedal support. But the expression pedal only affects 1 delay even if multiple delays are on. It also has MIDI support. But the pedal sounds great

Comments about TC Electronic Flashback Triple Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

Does exactly as advertised... Easy to "program": Set your delay type, time, repeats, mix, and subdivision parameters, then hold down the footswitch set to the number on the toggle switch until the LED flashes and it's done. Some may want to dive deeper into the parameters - that's what the toneprint option is for. Me, I'm happy with it as is. There are enough I/Os, including midi on it as well. Good stuff TC Electronic.

Good price comparing with others top brands.

Comments about TC Electronic Flashback Triple Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

I own the flashback x4 and love that pedal. I purchased this to have stacked delays for an ambient genre supported board. The sound was good but not the same as the flashback unit I have. In my opinion it is not as good. They may say it's all the same tone great ion and algorithms but whatever. Comparing my two units reveled they were not the same. It may be a quality control issue. The modulation was way more prominent and too heavy on the triple. IMHO they missed the mark with the user interface. In order to add a dedicated time division knob they shrunk the knob and they are too small and very cheesy feeling. The decision to shrink the knob was a poor decision. Then the color of the font against background is very hard to read. Also the time division knob doesn't feel right. It is very hard to tell when you have settled on a specific division. The simultaneous delays was a great idea. But I didn't need that many time divisions. If they would have just provided the simultaneous delays but left the human form factor the same I may have stayed in the pedal. But due to the sound and the usability both being a downgrade from the X4 along with the price tag I elected to return it. Sorry TC, I am still a fan but IMHO you missed the mark with this one. I will stick to twirling the big knobs on my X4.

Comments about TC Electronic Flashback Triple Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

Having 3 delays in the same box, each can be set to on or off and run in series or parallel adds some of the most interesting effects I've ever heard. There are some great demos on UTube to hear for yourself. It's expensive but if you get it on sale you may feel like you got a deal. Oh yes, the pedal is 9 1/4 inches wide so it takes up a lot of board space.
