Plug your Vox amPlug headphone amp into this powered, 0.7-watt Vox amPlug Cabinet and—voilá—you have a cool-looking micro mini stack! With your amPlug sitting on the amPlug Cabinet like a miniature amp head you simply plug your guitar into a 1/4" jack on the side of the amPlug Cabinet and you're ready to wail through the cab's 3" Vox speaker. You can still use the headphone jack on your amPlug, if you'd like. The Vox amPlug Cabinet works with the usual amPlug suspects: AC30, classic rock, metal, lead, bass, and acoustic. Powered by 9V battery or optional external power supply.

It only good for practice. It distorts at medium to high levels of noise and really hard to get a good clean sound out of it.

This thing is perfect for your amplug. For a minute i thought it wasnt working cause i have the metal plug in but it was kinda clean. But i figured out that i turned the gain down instead of the volume. But overall, this thing kicks alot of butt except for the little bit of feedback. But i think that probally depends mostly on which amplug you have and what the settings are on it. (its hard to get a clean metal tone)

If you already own an Amplug (or four), this cab will boost it so you don't need headphones. It goes without saying that a device this size and price will not sound like an AC30 exactly. But it makes an excellent practice amp that will fit in your case. I've even used my bass Amplug with it.
No controlsyou use the contols on the Amplug.
No quality concerns runs after a couple of months of use.

I have been playing guitar for most of my life. I work off shore in the Gulf and over sea's. I would carry a full size acoustic guitar with me, and this became to much hassel. 2 years ago, I bought a ESCAPE EG-1 (Traveler Guitar) that would fit on the air plane. I have the VOX amPLug Classic Rock, Metal and the AC30 that i play through. When the VOX amPlug cab came out, I brought the cab @ Christmas and try it out. The sound for this size cab sounds good. It won't blow the roof off your house, but is easy to carry and the amPlug I have sound good through it. This is a perfect match for my Traveler guitar and for space while traveling. The cost is great, but will have to buy the DC adapter. If you want the VOX sound on a smaller scale, buy this cab. Great Job VOX!!!

What can I say, it?s not too great. I love the Amplugs (see for yourself with my review of the Amplug AC30) so the cabinet was a no brainer to buy. But it sounds like what it is, a 3? speaker trying to act big. But at least I can say it's built tough. There is nothing impressive about the sound, it pretty much sounds like all micro amps. One of the reasons I wanted the cabinet was for the kitsch factor, a cool miniature half-stack, but the cabinet is too big for the Amplug to look like a realistic half-stack. Don?t buy the VOX Amplug + cabinet if you?re looking for a micro amp the cabinet is just an extra for someone who already has an Amplug. Besides the VOX I?ve played the Fender mini ?57 twin, the Marshall MS-2 and the Orange CR3. The Orange was the best, mostly because it includes a tuner. The VOX cabinet doesn?t make the Amplug better but it does give you the option to turn your Amplug into a micro amp and it wasn?t too expensive so I?m not too disappointed with my purchase.

I just received my Vox amplug cabinet today. I plugged my Vox AC30 amplug into it, and plugged in my Gretsch guitar. The result was awesome! This little combo sounds very much like my full size Vox AC30! I know both the cabinet and amplug seem a little pricey, but they are worth it. I have never heard a portable battery powered amp that sounds like this. It sounds good, and it is loud! The best part is that even when plugged in together the little combo fits perfectly in the inside storage box of my Gretsch hard shell case! This is perfect for taking to a friends house, or on vacation. You won't have to lug around a separate amp. You can fit this little combo and everything you need into your guitar case.

Just got one of these. have the classic rock head. this thing sounds really good. you can also use it as a speaker for an MP3 player. just plug the mini into the mp3 and put a dummy 1/4inch jack in the guitar port and away you go.

Opened the amplug cabinet took out the back that"s held together by 2 pieces of velcro, inside your 9 volt battery awaits and a small speaker. As soon as you plug into the amp it goes on. I"m using the lead head with FX sounds 10 times better or no FX. If you turn volume low sounds acoustic you even get feedback.
