This is a great amp for any guitarist that wants a light weight amp for small local shows. It gets very loud for its size, and sounds really good. I've read comments saying they have issues with the speakers and the distortions but I've had no such issues. Mine throws off sound, blasting clean distortions, and smooth clean sound for just casual play. My personal opinion is, people who dont like this amp is because they arnt adjusting the effects knobs correctly.
I don't really feel comfortable to say bad things about Washburn (because most of their products I have used are good), but this sadly, isn't one of them. At first, it seems really good, but I have had to replace the speaker twice and also, the distortion channel isn't clean at all. The reverb is horrible, if you move around too much, the reverb feeds back into the amp, and makes this deep "clanging / chinging" sound. I do have a couple of things good about this amp though. It is durable, and lightweight. For such a small amp, it can get very loud (but not clean!) The clean channel is awesome though. Also, the only thing I like to the sound of the distortion is how it can bring out harmonic pitch so good. Pinch harmonics are a blast to play on this amp as well, but that has more to do with the guitar than the amp :S. Anyway, my personal opinion is...there is alot more out there you can get for your money.
