Cant beat the price. A lot of good music for the price of a 6 pack. And not so hard to navigate once you get the hang of it. You wont be sorry!

Overall I found this DVD very usefull. There are about 5 or 6 licks that I use on a regular basis now. Some I didn't care for but there are a lot more on there that I am determined to learn. I don't know how to read tabs so that part was unuseful for me. Also I didn't care for having to select each lick on the menu. I think it should have maybe had 5-10 in a row before having to select each one. But with that aside, I found this DVD very helpful and my lead playing has definately improved by using it.

I recieved this a couple of days ago. I can see that it is going to be a useful training device if only to correct the dicrepencies between what is played on the DVD and what is written down on the tablature. It took a couple of tries playing what I knew to be correct on the tab before double checking the DVD and seeing that the tab was written incorrectly on the very last note of the lesson. That was on the very first "lick". We'll see what surprises the other 49 have in store. Still, for the price it's not a bad training video and I'm sure I'll pick up some stylistic pointers.

This is just a straight up solid dvd. If you wanna learn country licks then get this! Troy Dexter covers everything from classic country licks to billyrock to rhythm and blues type country ballads. Close ups AND cameras on BOTH hands simultaneously makes this unbeatable! Buy it!

Why pay a guitar teacher when you can pop a Hot Picker in your DVD player for less than the price of ONE lesson ANYTIME at your own convenience? I only found about 10 out of the 50 that I liked/wanted to learn but there should be something for about anyone on this DVD who wants to learn some not country licks.
