Exceptional Beginner's Book + CD

Comments about Hal Leonard All About Drums Book/CD Series:

If I could only buy one instructional tool for the drums, this would be it!! I have played drums for over 40 years, but my reading skills suffered from non-use. I looked at many different "general purpose" books, with and without CD's and DVD's, and Rick Mattingly's book makes the process of brushing up and improving a complete joy in an organized and mature way and he covers EVERYTHING! It sounds corny, but the cover is right; From Start...to Star! but without any b.s. or misinformation along the way.
