If your a single guitar/singer performer like me, this book can bring you some big payoffs. I like to think of this book as my little secret but to my follow guitar players I say BUY IT!!! If your a guitar teacher this is an OUTSTANDING way to get your students into The Beatles and teach very kool chord voices as well...I swear this book has landed me at least 4 gigs! 2 weddings (Here Come The Sun) & 2 birthday parties where they only wanted Beatle music played. As far as not having all the "other" parts...WHO CARES!!! Try finger picking The Long And Winding Road on page 322 and when you hit the C/D chord at the 3th fret, you'll think Paul himself was in there showing you the way to play it...It's THAT GOOD! Buy it...you won't put it down for weeks. My book is beat! The binding is gone and I have to buy another copy before it falls apart altogether...

The binding on this book falls apart after a few uses. I open it to a page and place in on a music stand. After a few used the book started falling apart.

Wish Hal Leonard would re-print a 8-1/2"x11" version using spiral binding.

The printed material is very good and easy to follow.

Comments about Hal Leonard The Beatles Complete Guitar Chord Songbook:

I bought this not to long ago from my local book store out of love for the band and for rhythm guitar practice, and it serves its purpose every day. Either for practice or if you want to learn how to play some Beatles this is perfect. Only thing, this is a songbook. Don't buy it if you want to learn how to play lead parts and such. Otherwise this is a fantastic deal.

Dig It

By John Lennon-oYWDr

Comments about Hal Leonard The Beatles Complete Guitar Chord Songbook:

I bought this book about a year ago when I first started paying acoustic guitar. Not only did it make me appreciate the Beatles even more, but it improved both my chord recognition and playing style. Strumming through the songs is insanely fun whether playing alone and in a group. And using the written chords to fingerpick through such titles as 'For You Blue' and 'Here Comes the Sun' is just as enjoyable. Recommend it to anyone who loves Beatles music and playing guitar. Period.

Pefect Gift for Any Beatles Fan

Comments about Hal Leonard The Beatles Complete Guitar Chord Songbook:

Alright, I got this as a gift about 1 year ago. Just today, do I realize just exactly how you play the songs. All the book shows is the chords, but once you figue out which strings, which time, and what strumming, this is the ultimate guide. Out of nowhere, I tried to play " Eight Days A Week" and somehow, I play almost the whole thing. It didn't wasn't perfect, but it sounded very good.

Almost perfect

Comments about Hal Leonard The Beatles Complete Guitar Chord Songbook:

Let me start by saying this book is definitely great and worth the money. It is great to just turn to any page and play with any Beatles song. The only problem is that this book only covers rhythm guitar, no spectacular George Harrison leads. This is my and compliant, so unless you have enough to get the larger-fuller book, this book is just fine.

Comments about Hal Leonard The Beatles Complete Guitar Chord Songbook:

This book is the best for a few reasons. The songs are simplified in a single page lay-out. The songs are listed in the actual keys. Chords sound perfect when you sing/hum along. The chords charts at the top of the page reduce "clutter" - this leads to memorization of many chords. I wish there was a Stones, Bob Dylan, other classics in this exact style. If you like the beatles and want to improve your chord knowledge, this book is awesome. If you just want to have a compact library of all beatles songs - with no "extreme" chords that are impossible - then this book somehow does it to perfection.
The only drawback is in the construction of the book. The book is very good quality, but it likes to stay shut. Many years of pressing the book open for "eyeball to eyeball" playing/reading has cause some pages to come loose. Do not let this hold you back.
I have other the black and orange Hal Leonard 'complete" beatles book - the chords are different, the type is small.

Comments about Hal Leonard The Beatles Complete Guitar Chord Songbook:

This is the 4th one of these I bought. A few years ago I bought one to learn from and ever since then I'll buy to give as a gift to fellow musicians that are into The Beatles. It really helped me learn how to play the guitar. I'm not kidding.
has all the chords above the words and a chord chart at the top of the page in case you forgot or need to learn the chord.
It's not bound so you need 2 large binder clips to hold the page open. One on each side. If the book was bound it would probably be double or triple the price. I'll deal with the clips. They work fine
as far as I know the chords a accurate
great price through musiciansfriend and free shipping. you can't go wrong
