there are better choices out there.

Comments about Music Sales Absolute Beginners Bass Guitar Book and DVD:

I bought this book almost 4 years ago, when I was first starting off, (along with a rogue beginners bass pack) since then I have moved up a couple of amps and basses, I was able to move up a bit quicker than other people when starting off but only because I already had a musical background and I had people to help me along the way. However; I could have learned much faster, but this book only shows you notes up to the 5th fret and basic finger walking technique. I highly recommend you buy another book such as a hal leonard beginners book. Or be prepared to buy another book right after "mastering" this book.
