The special design of the valve system allows the player to access the second (Gb) rotor without playing through the F. This allows the player several ways to simplify slide positions in the low range. The three interchangeable mouthpipes give the player the added advantage of being able to tailor the response of the instrument from the large bore tenor feel of the number one pipe, to the blending characteristics of two , to the wide open sound of the number three. All of these features are amplified by an amazingly efficient, dual gauge bell which is both powerful and beautiful sounding in all registers.

Love this instrument! It is beautiful in sound production and athestics. It was delivered to the house remarkably fast in excellent condition. I highly recommend this service and vouch for the quality of the instruments!

Coming from a Holton TR183, I found the balance to be way too slide-heavy on this horn. It did have very smooth action and a great sound, especially when the largest lead pipe is swapped in! The one I tried had an ugly seam in the transition area of the bell, which made an otherwise very beautiful trombone a little less perfect. Lots of nice fine-tuning adjustments for the triggers made me feel like I could fit this horn to me perfectly. In the end, the fact that it is NOT a single trigger horn, and the weight of the slide led me to return it.
