Comments about Yamaha YSL-620 Professional Trombone:
This trombone could easily get a lot of people with its looks. This instrument has many great features that make it a highly valued instrument to me. The simple downside is that the stock mouthpiece and case are not quite up to my par, but they seldom are when they come stock. Almost every other aspect of this instrument is a plus. The sound on this horn is very consistent. For a person who probably uses a slide lock too much such as me, you can be assured that it will stay locked. The rotor is also very very nicely built. I only have to oil it every couple months or so. The slide is also so nicely built that it only requires lubing every month or so (I play 2-3 hours a day). Overall, I find this instrument useful from parades to full orchestra. It is a very versatile and trustworthy instrument. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in purchasing it.
Comments about Yamaha YSL-620 Professional Trombone:
It is a great trombone. The projection is excellent, the slide is the most comfortable I have tried in my life. It is well balanced. I play it in the Royal Oman Symphony and for 1st trombone it is perfect. Now I play more Yamaha than Bach. To tell the truth I us Bach only when I have have extra gigs as 2nd.
Comments about Yamaha YSL-620 Professional Trombone:
The trigger works great. Slide is smooth.Upper register come out clean. Thes are some pros to this trombone.Cons mouthpiece, uncomftorable when playing(move around alot to get it right) Case could be better. Get a nicer mouthpiece and it would be a perfect 10. I strongly reccomend conn 88h!!!!!
Comments about Yamaha YSL-620 Professional Trombone:
I've owned this for a few months now and I love it. The only thing that bothers me in the leas6 is the F valve. It looks a bit ghetto-rigged so to speak, with just a string pulling it down. Nonetheless, it doesn't effect it's playing. It really improved my sound coming from a Bach Student Model. I've played Bach Stradivariuses and I prefer this trombone.
