Comments about LMI 27 Note Bell Set with Case G-A:
For the money you can't go wrong. Full scale (sharps and flats), close enough in tune for non-professional use. All in a protective storage and carry case with two sets of mallets and a wipe cloth. Elementary music teachers would do well with this!
Pros
- Nice sound
- Well tuned

Comments about LMI 27 Note Bell Set with Case G-A:
Probably the cheapest chromatic percussion you can get that's good enough to do songs with. Plays in tune with even tone across registers. Included mallets are decent enough but produce a lot of contact sound - some brass-headed mallets or soft rubber mallets are ideal, depending on desired tone. Pretty good sustain on all notes except the high G (not a big deal). Finally, the keys don't always seat themselves perfectly straight and the pins that hold them in place can interfere with the playing, but there are a number of easy ways to fix these. Overall, great for the money, lots of fun, and suitable for recording with.
Pros
- Sounds good
Cons
- Some Pieces Unattached

Comments about LMI 27 Note Bell Set with Case G-A:
Item delivered no problem. some of the small pieces had to be reattached. I am not sure if this would affect the quality of sound, but it seems to sound very good to me who knows nothing about music. bought for an eight year old to introduce to basic notes. all in all I am very pleased.
Comments about LMI 27 Note Bell Set with Case G-A:
We bought this glockenspiel for our budding musician for his 2nd birthday, thought it would be a good educational tool for him to learn music and ryhthm at the same time. Boy this thing sounds great! The bells ring clearly, are in tune with themselves and with the CD we played along. Now I too have something new to play with...I may even use it to make some recordings!
Comments about LMI 27 Note Bell Set with Case G-A:
I am using these instruments in a 6th grade Orff Ensemble. They are much cheaper and durable considering how much Orff costs. The sound is not as good as Sonar and other brands...but one has to consider price these days on "shoe string" school budgets. This is an outstanding deal considering one does not have to buy mallets to go with it...instead..you get two pair with each bell set!!!!
Comments about LMI 27 Note Bell Set with Case G-A:
I love these bell sets. They are economically priced and my middle schoolers can't break them. The protective case not only keeps the bells safe, but makes them easy to store. Other bells I used required me to always put them away to prevent students from damaging them. These can be stored vertically or horizontally and stacked. The sound is very nice and I like that each set comes with a hard and soft mallet set.
Comments about LMI 27 Note Bell Set with Case G-A:
I teach at a private school and we are using these in a percussion ensemble. They seem to be pretty durable and the sound is full.
