Rhythm Band Jingle Tap
The double jingle tap is 2 sets of nickel-plated tambourine jingles mounted on a formed head with a handle and is played by tapping against the palm of your hand to give a jingle effect of a tambourine. The single is one set of tamourine jingles. This piece is excellent for all rhythms.

Comments about Rhythm Band Jingle Tap:
I bought 30 of these with the thought they would work well along with bells and egg shakers in my work with preschool children.
First time out I see a 3 year old with one in pieces! The jingles are fastened with a NAIL! Seeing a nail and two jingle disks spralled out on the floor in front of a toddler was a little unnerving to say the least.
My first thought was that it was just a single bad one, but that was soon dashed when it happened again and also having the handle detach. Of course children are going to 'hammer' them and seeing the end fly off was more than enough for me to take them out of service.
I ended up taking each and every one apart and using Gorrila Glue in each hole for the handle and for nail hole and hammering them back together. After drying, I gave each one a real good tug on both nail and handle before reintroducing them to the children.
I haven't had another incident since, and it's been a few months now, but you can be sure I was on my guard for quite a while before any real confidence was gained.
Get them only if you're willing to "rebuild" them, otherwise take a pass.
