      Best LONG rhythm sticks

          Best Uses

Comments about Rhythm Band Rhythm Sticks:

I purchased these sticks because I've used some just like them at one of my schools for over 8 years. They are very durable and I like the long length. When I set out to purchase a second set for my new school, I searched high and low for long rhythm sticks and these are the best for the price.

            The best inexpensive rhythm sticks

Comments about Rhythm Band Rhythm Sticks:

They are a nice 14 inches long. For hitting together they work great, the rubbing (guiro) effect isn't great, but not bad. This might be due to the paint, or maybe the ridges could have been better designed. At any rate this seems to be an issue with all inexpensive rhythms sticks. If you don't mind shorter sticks, go with the 'rhythm band' 10 inch ones (they are the red ones). If you want an even better (little more $$) rhythm stick sound, go with some cheap claves. If you want an even better guiro sound, go with the 'Rhythm Band' guiro tone block, a nice little instrument that comes with a mallet.
