I like 4 paired beaters, the length, and the little pouch. Should have thrown in a Grover Triangle at this price.
Insulated grips are nice. Ten pack with pouch is nice. Extra long beaters are nice. Having 4 pair plus two single heavy strikers are nice. I would like to see the back ends of the beaters bent so that I could hang the beater right with the triangle. Being a straight metal rod, they sometimes roll under music if on the music stand, or gets buried under a pile of sticks on stand for my mallets and sticks. A bend would prevent these from rolling, easier to grab when on the music stand and you turn the page, and allow them to be hung more easily.
There is nothing special about these beaters. They are not the tubular model that Grover makes. They are regular chromed beaters. So the quality is ok, I have no complaints.
These are expensive but you get a whole buch of beaters. I would like to try the tubular beaters that have the striker insulated from the handle, but those are outrageously priced. Same goes with many other beaters. It would be just as simple to go to the hardware store and make some beaters out of metal dowell, but that wouldn't support the percussion manufacturers.
