I bought these to be something for my kids to play while I play guitar. The wood is nice and sturdy, and the bongos play easily. The bag however is literally a potato sack with a string and printed logo. It's as if "CP" found the cheapest bag in the world just so they could say "with bag!" I think less of the company for this gimmick.

If I'd know I would be receiving a toy I would have spent the extra $40.00 and bought a set with decent heads. the Heads I have to spend money on is what I would have spent.

I got these bongos for knock-arounds - small and lightweight as compared to my LP GenII's. The sound is pretty okay for little drums (nothing like my full-size Generation II's, which are fantastic bongos!), but there are two big disappointments - (1) the "traditional" rim rather than a "comfort curve" style. The traditional flat rims can be hard on the hands. I sure wish these had a curved rim like the LP Aspire's. (2) the lug hardware is undersized and the lugs strip easily. These bongos defintiely need heavier-duty hardware. That's the really big minus. If I had it to do over again, I would not buy these bongos.
