The DW Tambo Pedal was designed for multitasking drummers and percussionists that want to replicate the sound of a hand tambourine. Designed by drummer extraordinaire, Gregg Bissonette, the Tambo Pedal was conceived for use on the most recent Ringo Starr tour and has been refined so the technique used to play it is easily mastered. The 2000 Series pedal that comes with the assembly includes a beater hub, so it can be used as a stand-alone or back-up bass drum pedal in the studio or on the road.
The perfect add-on to any drum kit or percussion rig.
An accessory pedal for multi-tasking drummers looking to build greater limb independence.

Comments about DW 2000 Series Tambourine Pedal:
As a professional and experienced drummer/percussionist, I was very excited about the release of this percussion product. It has been a bit frustrating and disappointing to not be able to get the specific sound and especially the FEEL that I want for my particular style and musical application. (See Mike & Brian Music on FB for an example of my set up) I still have not been able to incorporate this tambourine pedal into my live kit, because of the above mentioned cons. The pedal itself is very well constructed and sturdy. A very sincere thanks to Gregg Bisonette and DW for their continued percussion innovation!
