Comments about LP Glow-In-The-Dark Egg Shakers, 1 Pair:

These egg shakers are sweet. They sound exactly how I wanted them to. They're not piercingly loud or dull and quiet. I brought mine to a gig one night and gave them to the drummer, hoping he would find some use for them, but he totally forgot he had them until the set was over. I decided to make up for it by shaking them non-stop for the rest of the night. After my shoulder started to hurt, I switched to the other hand. Even using my left hand, it was easy! This goes to show that anybody can use this! As long as you have a good sense of rhythm and any coordination at all, these eggs rock.

If you shake it fast, it sounds like a rattlesnake.

Comments about LP Glow-In-The-Dark Egg Shakers, 1 Pair:

These shakers make a crisp sound that is nice, not overpowering, but still cuts through. I am very pleased with the sound compared to my first egg shakers, which were made of a slightly thicker colored plastic that resulted in a less audible / more muffled effect. The glow in the dark feature doesn't do anything for the sound, either positive or negative as far as I can tell, but it sure makes them more fun and more interesting to use. Definitely a good value if you are looking for a projecting, clean, crisp sound.

          LP versus Jim Dunlop

          By Jessica Uzel

          from Great Lakes

Comments about LP Glow-In-The-Dark Egg Shakers, 1 Pair:

I purchased two black plastic Jim Dunlop eggs and two glow-in-the-dark Latin Percussion eggs. The Latin Percussion eggs immediately proved themselves superior. They have a crisper and more pronounced sound. They allow for more precision of sounds with hand movement. Overall, the diversity of sounds they could produce seemed to out-match the Jim Dunlop eggs. However, if you're looking for a softer and warmer sound of shaker, the Dunlop eggs might be the way to go.

As I have these both, I would use the Dunlop eggs for softer, slower, relaxed situations, and the LP eggs for more ecstatic and upbeat music. Both work fine, but if I now had to choose, I'd go with LP.

          EGG SHAKERS ON SEROIDS!!!

Comments about LP Glow-In-The-Dark Egg Shakers, 1 Pair:

Wow! Not only do these babies glow in the dark but they have a loud and awesome sound! They do awesome live and yet you can play them in the studio or at practice. Two of them together make it sound like a normal shakers. I use these a TON. Make sure you pick some up. Good work LP!!!
