First of all, these should be called blocks, as they don't sound like bells. They have a really nice, bright sound to them, but unfortunately, they're unusable. Why? Well, just like all LP products, the eyebolt assembly doesn't stay tightened. All you have to do is hit it two or three times, and it's loose. Completely loose. The only way to get these things tight is to use players and wrench them as tight as they will go. Then, get some duct tape and wrap it completely around the mount. After that, melt the eyebolt assembly until you can bond it with the mounting rod. Seriously, the eyebolt assembly is garbage.

Comments about LP617 Mountable Double Sambago Bells:
they are great for accenting and using with timbales but the eyebolt assembly get loose quick:( also these bells are not good for hard hitting drummers because wen i first bought a pair the purple snapped right off..... i have managed to have the second pair though for about 4 months. they are good for timbaleros, not metal drummers.
Comments about LP617 Mountable Double Sambago Bells:
I bought this bell and it sounded great. I have had it for about a year now. With some beating, one of the bells came apart from the welding. I you're not to much of a hard hitter, than this would suite you. Hard hitters need something more sturdy.

Comments about LP617 Mountable Double Sambago Bells:
These bells sound good and have tone. The bells are virtually unbreakable but how they're mounted is not. careful when you transport because they will break easily at the weld.
Comments about LP617 Mountable Double Sambago Bells:
The purple one sounds a lot like the blue jam block in my opinion. They're really great, but due to the little gap in the they make more of a click. Not exactly what i was aiming for
Comments about LP617 Mountable Double Sambago Bells:
I bought mine for a different sound on my kit. The sound was very cool, but the purple block broke the third day.
Comments about LP617 Mountable Double Sambago Bells:
Im not a heavy hitter, still this product gave on me, one month after i bought it. The supporting rod of one of the bells snapped. The purple bell produces the same tone as the blue jam block manufactured by the same company, so its not very useful if you already have the blue jam block.

Comments about LP617 Mountable Double Sambago Bells:
I bought them searching for a delicate high-pitched wood block sound. For my surprise, they are quite loud. I found very suitable for low volume introductions and playing accents
Comments about LP617 Mountable Double Sambago Bells:
These are great, and much better than jam blocks or blast blocks in my opinion, plus you get two of them instead of one for almost the same price or less than some of those blocks. I own these, they don't break, they sound good. I like the low pitch and the high pitch sounds. Good good stuff get it!
