I just received my Aspire Conga set, and I'm absolutely floored! The quality is superb! The sound is superb! I ordered the redwood set, and the finish is outstanding. Deep woodgrain, flawless finish. Hardware is top-quality. Hey, I may sound like a commercial, but so be it. I'm still scratching my head as to how they can sell these for the price they charge. "Entry-level" my eye! These congas are well-suited for advanced players as well. Overall, I'm blown away. Great job, LP. Thanks guys!

I've played a few sets of congas in my day ,and I think these are the best ones I've ever played. I have drummers gloves to take the sting and blood vessels comfortable.

Very solid high quality hardware and heads. I am very happy with the sound and appearance of these congas. I chose the natural wood exterior and they look great. Rawhide heads change pitch with temperature and humidity fluctuations but they are easy to tune. I use mallets as well as fingers. These should last a lifetime.

I am a very experienced drummer and bought these in sunburst as blems. They look great and sound good. I cant find a blem on them. They seem like great congas to learn on. Quality is very good and they function perfectly.

I have had my congas for 2 and 1/2 years and they still have the same great sound as when i first got them(they even sound a little better because the heads are broken in)its worth the price.
