    Comments about Meinl Subwoofer Cajon:

I was given this Cajon for Christmas 2014. Since then I have used it in two live acoustic gigs. Micing the subwoofer ports gives a great, deep bass drum type sound when using a pedal. I sit on this, and play my hand crafted ashiko and have received nothing but compliments on the new sound.

        Comments about Meinl Subwoofer Cajon:

I've been playing all kinds of cajons for a while now....I'm always on the look out for a new sound. I saw this in my local music store and tried it out and was immediately disappointed. When I hit the low ends I was hoping to hear a thick rich bass sound...but it sounded more like I was slapping my hand down on a mattress.
