Comments about Paiste PST 7 Thin Crash:
I've been drumming for just under a year and up till this point have purchased all used cymbals (Zildjian & Paiste). This PST 7 was my first new cymbal purchase.
First off, I'll say that I'm a Paiste fan. After researching Paiste, Meinl, & Zildjian I decided to go with this cymbal. Most of the reviews were saying how close it sounded to the Paiste 2002's. I don't think it sounds close to them at all. It's a decent cymbal, but does sound a bit tinny which surprised me. Good response though. Also, the thin is not as thin as I expected.
Overall it's a decent sounding cymbal. If I could do it over again I wouldn't purchase it. But I'm not a professional musician so it will work in my kit.
