Ive played signature cymbals for over 20 yrs. Everything from hihats, splashes, crashes , china`s, and rides. Their sound characteristics are unparalleled and the quality is superior. For the reviewers who say these break too easy, practice a little more hand & stick technique. Im using sigs that are close to 20 years old and they show no signs of breaking. I play everything from progressive rock, fusion, jazz, country, latin, and r&b. Never had an issue. Simply the best!!

Everyone is right, I've owned AAX, AA, A Custom, A, Z Custom, K Custom, Paragon, and others. I have 7 crashes in my set now and the Paiste 16" Signature Series Full Crash is absolutely the greatest. You get what you pay for. Thanks, Paiste, thanks Musician's Friend.

Excellent Quality Cymbal Well Worth The Price

By xCarpePADrumsx

from Bloomsburg, PA

Comments about Paiste Signature Full Crash:

Since I was introduced to Paiste through a representative at a local drum shop, I've been using the 17" Full Crash at all of my shows. It offers a very clear, very defined tone that blows away any other cymbal I have on my kit, any I've always received compliments on it after every gig. Am excellent choice for a musician who is out there playing shows and trying to gain resignation and can afford the expense; more so if you want to be sure you'll have a quality piece of equipment you can rely on night after night of performing. I'd would recommend this cymbal to anyone who wants to see a definitive difference in the construction of their set.

The go-to cymbal

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

Comments about Paiste Signature Full Crash:

I have sampled many different cymbal sounds, ranging from top of the line Sabian and Zildjian to Turkish made Bosphorus and Masterwork lines. None of them compares to the Paiste signature line. I have always used an 18" Paiste sig. full crash in my setup because it does the job - for every job. My other cymbals rotate in and out between different Paiste models and lines, but this one always stays. Hands down the best cymbal made.

Best I've ever played, PERIOD!

Comments about Paiste Signature Full Crash:

These cymbals are an absolute pleasure to play with. I own a 16" full crash, 14" fast crash, and a 20" full ride. I play at least three nights a week and still get exited every time I get to set them up and play them. I know there expensive, but cymbals this good aren't going to be cheap. In my opinion, they are worth every penny!

Great Crash

By x1predator

from Lake Charles, LA

Comments about Paiste Signature Full Crash:

The drummer at my church used this cmbal all the the time and I always thought it had a beautiful sound to it, so I decided to give it a try. This cymbal has the perfect 'sploosh' sound that i'm sure everyone is looking for and sounds awesome with cymbal rolls and bell hits. I own the 16" and its the best cybal I have next to my 17" Paiste Fast Crash. Believe me ou can't go wrong with this cymbal...if you don't mind paying the extra buck.

Hands Down - The BEST!

By Working Musician-CvIxH

Comments about Paiste Signature Full Crash:

I will make this short and sweet! If you want the best sounding cymbal money can buy, look no further. The Paiste sigs are there. I'm a working drummer with 30 years experience and have used them all. I was always left wanting just a little more. I had a REALLY hard time paying the big bucks for a signature but decided to about a year ago. I got the 16 in mellow crash. Done, sold and story over. I now have a 16 in power and an 18 in power. Get out of the way! they and the best sounding, clearest and loudest cymbals made (except the Rude for volume). Same your pennies for a few more weeks or months and do yourself a favor. Buy Signatures!

Comments about Paiste Signature Full Crash:

These cymbals would still be worth buying if only because they look amazing, but the sound they create makes them more than amazing. I carry ten signature series on my kit and the versatility they give you is just sweet music to any music fans ears. I would, how ever, recommend that you get the extended warranty. If you are hard on your cymbals as I am, it might not be such a bad idea. Two of mine have cracked but they were within the warranty period and they were replaced. I've had them now five years and they still sound awesome!

Comments about Paiste Signature Full Crash:

Amazing Crash Cymbal. I own the 16" and it is by far the best sounding crash I have ever heard. Way better sounding then HHX or K's. The price is a little high but I'm saving for an 18" now. These crashes can fit perfectly into any style of music that you want to play. Everytime I hit this cymbal it sounds so great, if god played cymbals these are what he'd get. Paiste is the only way to go.

I didn't want to do it...

By Monday317

See all my reviews

Comments about Paiste Signature Full Crash:

So I have a terrific 21" K Custom Special Dry Ride, and a pair of 60's-era 15" New Beats. Needed a crash that would work. Couldn't find any 17 or 18" Special Drys, and the one A Custom that sounded good musically overpowered everything. Nothing else I heard was dry enough or had a good balance for the other cymbals. Heard some other Turkish stuff--close, but no cigar--a little tinny. Then I whacked one of these. I don't like Paiste--they give me the impression they want to crack first chance they get, and they are rather dry in general. On the other hand, they are the best looking darn plates out there. I whacked an 18" Sig Full, and whaddya know? It fits perfectly with the set. Damn. Oh well, my kit sounds great, and one of my cymbals is pretty. Maybe this'll teach Big Z to quit dropping cymbal lines quite so suddenly, eh? Anyway it's a really good cymbal. Don't whale on it for Death Metal, but anything else, and it'll serve you well. Them's my 2 USD.

I own 16" and 18" full signature crashes. They are the best cymbals I've played. They cut through nicely when playing rock. They sound good for jazz. They are great all around cymbals. I keep them clean with Paiste cleaner. I will not allow debris to dull the sound; especially when cymbals are this expensive.

I've played many cymbals over the years but there is something special about the sound of the Paiste signatures that told me I had to have them. As soon as I hit the 18" full crash, I knew it would be mine. It cuts through loud rock music and sounds great. My old Sabians would get lost in the mix a lot of the time. Fortunately, I was able to get two for the price of one at a local shop.

Comments about Paiste Signature Full Crash:

I've been playing drums since 1975, I've owned pretty much every cymbal brand there is... This is my all time favorite cymbal. I went into the "Cymbal Vault" at Guitar center and picked apart all the crash cymbals they had, the Paiste Full Crash (mine is 18") really stood on its own. It's just a good clean crash with no ugly overtones, very crisp in my opinion. My AAX sounds like a trash can lid compared to the Paiste full crash.

The bad, I've have heard that if you're a hard hitter, you will break it.. I hit hard but I purchased a three year warranty if and when I break it. I'm willing to take the chance

Comments about Paiste Signature Full Crash:

All my cymbals are Sabian! I wanted to add a brighter crash and began my search. I wanted to try Sabian Vault 19" crash but the music store didn't have it available. So I tried out the Sabian AAX - Explosions, 16,17,18 & 19". Non of them did anything for me. So I started testing oout other brands Zildjian and finally Paiste. The second I heard the Paiste Signature 19" I fell in love with it. I returned home and told my wife I found a sweet cymbal but it wasn't a Sabian and it was expensive. She said it's your birthday, buy the cymbal. So later on that day I returned back to the store and purchased it, it was hard spending that kind of money. There is no doubt, this cymbal is worth the investment, no regrets. So please take my advise, don't listen to anyone, just go and listen to these cymbals yourself and you will hear the difference. If you are fortunate enough, you will have the money to buy one.

I own a 17" Paiste Signature. Over all the years in my musical expirence and they endless expirementing with Z's and Sabian cymbals for the right sound, PAISTE is the only Cymbal that does it for me. 16" Signature is too high pitched and splashy (yet very pretty) and the 18" is to low piched and powerfull. The 17" Signature is hands down the best crash ever!!! PAISTE:----17" Signature Full Crash; 16" Sound Formula thin Crash. Signature 14" Dark Crisp High Hats and an Alpha 20" Dry ride with a Sound Formula 10" Splash (aswome breaking glass W/sustain!Jazzy as heck.)And an 18 Wuhuan China. All over a 6 pc. Sonor Jungle custom. No doubt Paiste is the best, who cares what the price.

I'm sorry to rain on everyone's party but these cymbals just don't sound good. They look great, but they break to fast, so if you're going to get cymbals for jazz, this is what you want. If you want them for hard rock on the other hand, these are terrible.
