Slave to the power of this cymbal..

Features:

I own the 22" version of this cymbal. It is hands down the best ride I've ever played. The sound of a wooden tip on the bow of this cymbal creates a full ping with a beatiful, shimmery wash. The bell is also the best bell I have ever heard. It produces the sweetest tone that would cut through 100 guitars. Even the crash of this thing is great! Deep booming crash with a long sustain. Paiste has truly created a masterpiece here.

Quality:

This ride is very well made, you can see the meticulous hand hammering and care put into this cymbal.

Value:

While pricey, you get way more than you pay for with this cymbal. You will be the envy of any drummer who knows his cymbals.

Overall:

Overall, I highly recommend this ride. It's got a great sound, great cut, and looks fantastic. It's called the reflector because you can check yourself out in it! There's really nothing that I don't like about this cymbal, anyone who wants a ride with a full, glassy ping and a rockin' bell shoud definitely check this out.

I've been waiting 2 years to buy this cymbal.  The price is high, but it is definitively worth it. I've been a Nicko fan since forever and always chased that ride sound.  Well, here it is.  A lot of people say that it is too washy and dosent sound like it's replica, the Sound creation bell ride.  If you hit it like Nicko, almost vertical, and with a bit of stick shoulder near the bell, you can really get a crisp, pigny ride sound.  The wash can build up quite loud, but it fades fast and the stick sound never gets lost. The ping is vrey loud, clear and fat!  The wash is is easy to control, which maes this ride very expressive.

Listening on Paiste's site was the only preview I had of this cymbal. I knew when I ordered it, this ride would be great, but I was blown away at what this cymbal can do when I got it. You can play soft, meduim, loud and the cymbal maintains its crisp, distinct ping over a harmonic wash. Even better, the wash doesn't get too overbearing when played loud, it just sort of holds its character. Expensive? Yes, but for a drummer looking for the best, you won't regret this one. This ride is truly an amazing piece of work. Buy it and rock on!
