great china, impressed the hell out of the sound guy when recording with it... got it second hand before when it was the sound formula and not absorbed into the signature line... has a small dent in the side, still sounds increndible, it's my only china ive been beating on it for years and it hasnt changed... very impressive cymbal, good and loud for heavy metal breakdowns and nice and washing for little accents and rolls and things my only complaint would be the sustain is just a tad too long for my liking, still my favourite china though.. havent found anything that sounds quite like it by sabian

Comments about Paiste Signature Thin China Cymbal:

I bought the 18" a few months ago and was very impressed with the sound. great china. Paiste is definitely the place to go for chinas in my opinion. my only beef with this cymbal (apart from the cost, but hey its paiste what can you expect?) is that it's a delicate cymbal. I made the mistake of using it as my main china and it probably got more abuse than it was meant for. It's already developing small cracks (which it still sounds great, but unfortunately cracks grow =/) I would recommend using it as maybe a second china and use something that can take a beating for your main china. Overall great sounding china though in my opinion.

This china sounds awesome but I mean you have to keep in mind it's a thin china... That means all you heavy hitters gotta watch out cause I got a couple dents going on mine already but it does sounds super nice especially for prog rock

I use an 18" Thin China. For some silly reason, Musician's Friend charges more for the 18" than the 20".

            Versatile, delightful

Comments about Paiste Signature Thin China Cymbal:

Smaller versions has a quick, sharp cut sound. The larger ones have a slightly broader, trashier sound. Though the smaller versions are not as durable as I hoped (I play rock, oops) it's very audible in loud situations and gives a lovely exotic touch to one's studio sound.
