The squeezability is good, but I'm disappointed that the low bell is much deader sounding than the high bell. Together they sound very uneven.

This is a really good-sounding bell for the price. It sounds especially cool when played w/ my Brazilian group. Pearl did a nice job w/ this bell.
The steel gauge looks sort of thin, so I'm anxious to see how it holds up in the long-term.
It is a good price for an item such as this.

Fine instrument, but not durable enough for parade volume wear and tear.
Connecting rod/handle has nice flexiblity for clapping bells together. Great for improvising on solos.
Good for moderate or indoor use. Nice tone and sweet sustain. Doesn't dent. But large bell split at weld fairly quickly when played for outdoor events.
Highly recomended for moderate, and casual use.

Having gone through several Agogos, this one is the best. It's very strong and does not dent like the LP one. When the crowd is loud, this agogo hangs tough. Sound is excellent whether you are playing really really soft just using your thumb :) or really really loud striking right along the edge. You will chew down many sticks before you ever split the welding on this thing. The handle is long, 8-inch, and mounts perfectly. It should be played on the bells' edges.
