Comments about Pork Pie Maple/Rosewood 4-Piece Shell Pack:
As a pro-drummer I've played the lot. That means I get paid to play drums and if I screw up I can't feed my kids. I have to get the sound right for the engineer and producer. These drums out class any other drums in the same ptice range but fall short in not including the snare.
This shows a great resolve on the part of PP but you really should get one for the money you put out. Maybe not to use but to sell? Most good sets are sold without the snare which really pisses me off. They do it because they know that any pro drummer has very refined taste for snare drums. It's should be factored in the price of the kit. The sound is tight and the lamination of the six plys on the toms, bass and floor are excepsonial and very well excecuted. No cheap labour here. Sounds like the DW kit without the price tag.
I'm tired. JUST GET IT !!!
