I got this add-on to add some different taste to my sound and it excels. Mounts almost anywhere on a kit and the easiest place for mine is the boom stand mounted on the kick drum. The drawback of this placement is when i kick, the tambourine rattles slightly(easily fixed). The main issue is the cowbell is thick so the sound isn't sharp enough. Some people might like that, but not me. Other than that, nothing is wrong with it and i love it. Thanks MF for the speedy delivery too.

I was convinced by the person working at garage center to buy this before actually testing it. It was a mistake. The cow bell sounds pretty good, but the tamborine is absoute junk. If you are buying this for a very beginner drummer, then they will have fun for it, but if you are searching for quality, do not purchase this product.

I've been playing for 7 mo.s now but i got this a while back as a bargain basement add on but it turned out to be really high quality the tambourine however rings a bit esp. for me because it's mounted on my crash stand when you hit something on the same stand but you can't hear it over everything

I received this as a gift last Christmas, and overall I am really satisfied with the cowbell and tambourine. They both are bright and dry, and the cowbell can really pierce.I have it mounted on a cymbal stand that holds my Wuhan china. One thing that I noticed is that the mounting hardware sometimes transmits vibration from the cowbell and the china cymbal to the tambourine.To help prevent unwanted jingling, I would suggest that you take a small, thin rectangle of rubber, foam, or felt and wrap it around the inside of the hole of the tambourine's mounting clamp. If needed, do the same to the cowbell's mounting clamp.

I bought this a couple days after Christmas and this is absolutely great. Some people said that the hardware wasn't good but I haven't had a problem with it yet. I love this thing, the tambourine adds something that makes your drumming great

I recieved this when I bought the Ludwig Accent kit. It is an excellent addition, the hardware is awful though, the tam jingles a little when you hit the cowbell, but not to bad. Hey, but for free, I am not going to complain that much. A nice addition to the Great kit I bought

i just purchased this product a few days ago. this is a great buy if you are looking to add some flavor to your set. the cowbell has a nice sound that is useable for any genre really, and the tambourine isnt bad either. the biggest downside is the hardware. i have to repeatedly crank the wingnuts so my cowbell doesnt go swinging around. overall, this is a nice buy.

The band I'm in started playing some older Motown stuff for our crowds...this was a huge hit...it adds some great sound to a kit with minimal effort. The only problems I have are trying to keep the cowbell out of the way of my cymbal (workable) and when you really get rolling on the bell it tends to slip around (also workable)...all in all, a fun, light addition...just make sure it fits your genre!

I got this for my birthday from my brother cause we were playing a huge show with our band that didn't require, but definitely needed something different then the plain old high-hat.This was a great choice. The tambourine is very good, and the cowbell has, well, a great sound as well. Though sometimes the tambourine slips when you continually hit it, and depending on cymbal situation and where you put this; it can get in the way of the cymbals.But it's really nothing to worry about. You work around is simply.Overall, a great product if you need to spice up your set with some different sounds!

First off, this is really not that bad of an asscessorie. Just know if it goes good with your style of music first. The cowbell and tamborine are great. The mount probably came from straight from hell though. Its hard to mount to anything with this thing. I would recommend this to jazz drummers mostly.
